ok will look into it bro, but it should be just the same as this one, go to the asus rog 5 page, download the latest firnware update, put it on root folder then do local update, but check with the seller first if doing this won't brick your phone, it would depend on how they converted the ROG 5 they sold

I like the china version better because of the faster charging support, and the China rom is more stable and gets more frequent updates. Unless you need languages other than English then the china version is a better buy

china rom with playstore still has some chinese bloatware which can be uninstalled and some parts of the UI in chinese, on the global rom, everything is basically in English, though in some cases the china rom has more fleshed out features and usually get more updates as well as get them more frequently, it's one of the reasons I stick with the china rom, as long as the play services are there, it should function just fine

Hum i get thé global ROM vs the chinese one thing but what about the phone itself. Doesn t the tencent version get a smaller batterie than the global / EU one? the china version has the smaller battery but faster 120w charging, they changed the battery on the global but gimped the charging to just 66watts, the transparent edition is a china only exclusive for now and there is no global version planned as of the moment

Hey bro I need you assistance, I have a rm6 Tencent pink variant with eu rom and it has wifi issue , it can't connect to public wifi ( the page to enter details in public wifi doesn't appear and so wifi stays connected without internet) I have tried resetting network settings, formatted device 2 times but no luck . The first time when setting up device it asks to connect wifi so only that time it connects to wifi and page appears ( after setup other wifi connections doesn't work , so only 1st time setup wifi works) please help me

just use the NA one if you're in the Philippines, the only difference is in the pre-installed language options, the EU one has the european languages while the NA/Asia contains, well, English and other Asian languages 😂

If google play store works right away on China rom or does it have to be installed separately? 2. Do I have to factory reset after switching from global to China rom? you have to install it separately but will work without issue once installed, yes a factory reset is advisable just to make sure everything is fresh, yes you can easily go back to global rom at anytime and from experience the performance is a lot better on china roms and you get more frequent updates as well

there is no difference in the global and tencent versions of the regular redmagic 6, the only difference is with the redmagic 6 pro where the global version gets the bigger 5050mAh battery but slower max 66W charging

Yah I did notice the lower brightness on the ROG 5 , but they say it gets up to 1300 nits on max brightness, don’t really feel the weight difference that much, maybe because the phone is a lot taller than the redmagic 5s

Does the headphone jack on Red magic 6 gets in the way of hands while playing games? I had no issues on 5S. Which one is your favorite for Gaming only ROG 5 or Nubia 6? Personal opinion.

hi! i just got my red magic 6 pro and i have a problem :( when i go into settings->system update, it just does nothing, i cant open the system update settings! and therefore i am not able to install the global europe rom on my phone. also i logged into my google play account and the first thing i wanted to do is download my "pascal's wager" game that i bought on that account with my galaxy tab s6 lite but it just asks me to buy it again and since google pay dosent work on this rom i am stuck. i cant get my pascals wager game on my new phone. what can i do about this problems please? thank you!!!!!

@@EGotTech25 hello and thanks for the answer! no i didnt factory reset it yet. i think if i do that i wont have the google play store anymore and i have no idea how to install it (im new to android stuff). when i try to make a nubia account it asks me for my phone number but when i enter my number with the internationally common format it dosent accept it and without my nubia account i cant access the nubia app store or not? the firmware that is installed is weird, on the page where i bought it there was only 1 choice of firmware and it was called "Multi - GE/EN/FR/ES..." i have currently set the phone to english but the english in the system has quite many spelling errors. i dont know what to do now :/

@@EGotTech25 ok i think i found a way to update to the global eu rom my entering recovery mode. there is an option that should be called something like "apply update from ADB" or "update package" and then i can allegedly select the zip file in my root directory and update it. the question is, should i first do a factory reset before copying the rom to my root and starting the procedure? edit: nevermind, i tried to enter into recovery mode but when i do this it just puts me into a simplified menu with the only 3 options being: wipe data, reboot, shut down. oh god im going crazy. how can i flash my rom?? :(

first thing I always do is, turn on developer options then put windows animation down to 0.5x this will make things a lot smoother, and turn dark mode on, but turn off the individual apps dark mode, within the same setting, JoyUI tries to enable dark mode per app even if not supported and messes up the colors. also make sure you use a cooler if playing long sessions, other than that, enjoy!
