I definitely think pop up cameras are neat too but having more moving parts in a phone, especially like that would probably result in a broken and glitched out front facing camera at some pint, despite the supposed durability. Also, having fans on a phone is a neat way to limit heat, keeping not only the phone cool but the battery. A hot battery = a degraded battery so having the fan is quite nice. I love how this phone looks. I'm such a sucker for squared off phone designs. Fell in love with the (now discontinued) Razer phones 1 & 2, one of the Sony phones, the new S24 Ultra, and now this one.

I miss 3.5mm jack being standard. This seems like an interesting choice for a phone. Ill have to look at the sofware support. As I tend to hold onto phones for at least a few years. Unless something happens to it or the upgrade is really justified.

Keep missing it then because we dont need more holes on our phones, we need less.

No Bluetooth based audio device that fits in your hand comes close to a longevity and performance of good wired earphones on a phone with a good dac like Lg v40
@VichitraChitta0111 ай бұрын
So missing it is justified. When did holes in phones ever bother anyone at all? That’s the lamest reason I’ve seen for getting rid of headphone jacks 😂

My LG V50 has had it's cameras behind the glass and a smooth bumpless backside since 2019 lol. No clue why camera bumps were ever even a thing since clearly it was already possible to design them with a flat smooth back surface if they wanted to.

This is the first time I have been genuinely excited to see a new phone be released. Every other time it's just the same phone with 1 or 2 very minor changes, but this just seems to do everything right! Also, seeing you scrape and scratch the phone crushed my soul, but I'm very happy to actually see how well it handles damage.

Interesting to see the audio port for the wired headphones. I hope other manufacturers look to adopt similar technology on their devices.

I really enjoyed this one, im always a bit anxious with the flame test but boy did this Phone hold up to it. Quite impressive to only take damage by the scratch test basically. One thing tho, maybe it would be a good addition to scratch the top pixels to see how scratches affect the selfie camera quality. Even if I wont win one, Im probably getting the phone. Had ZTE for a long time(until i broke em and sit on an S5 now lol) and the Axon 7 was actually one of my absolute favourites.

Really had me anxious while you were testing such a pricey phone's durability, but as expected of the price, it would most likely survive, I've had my eyes on this phone for quite a while upon release, it was perfect, with its high performance capability and such a sleek design that will surely attract hardcore mobile gamers out there like me! I love how this video also shows how durable the device is against numerous challenges regarding its durability, which furthermore increases my desire for this phone, as always, 10/10 video, keep making more of these, very entertaining and experimental!

I absolutely love the idea of hidden front camera. Overall this phone does look nice. What is missing here is some sort of docking station for this phone so it could be used as "desktop", at least in some form. Modern phones do have enough power to be used as such, it would be really nice.

I still use Asus 7 Pro with a flip-able camera module and it is the best solution. No notch or hole in the screen. Main camera, which is always way better than front-facing camera in any phone, acting as a selfie camera. Wide-angle camera is very useful when you want to take a selfie with a large group of people. And flash light is also available. Moreover flip-able module allows to take a panorama photos very quickly and reliable, it scans around in less than 2 seconds. And last, but not least, sometimes I rotate camera module by just 45 degrees to conveniently take a photo of tall buildings or a photo from below. Shame that the concept never became popular and it is completely abandoned now.
