Smash & Grab For his main island, I would have two fleets of bombers. They would swoop in from one shore, go over the island and bomb the other shore, then circle back and do it again while attacking with ships. Easy for me to say of course :)

What happens if you buy all his island?

Each share has a 10min cooldown, and he has chance to buy back in that time. But in theory I could just start buying them all but he would go to war with me if I took even one of them. If you buy them all he is out of the game

maybe the easiest way to get rid of an opponent.. make sure you have enough influence (+600) an enough money, start an 4h non aggression-pact an buy him out in 1,5h (all islands at the same time every 10 min). he will buy back shares only now an then. no shot would be shot, and no ship would be lost. you just have to finish before the 4 h are over. but it's not as immersive as a nice shipfight of course
