Israel-Hamas: Poilievre says "every innocent life" has "precious value" in speech to house

Addressing Canada's Parliament on Monday, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre responded to the ongoing situation in Israel and Gaza, saying that Hamas is not a militant organization, government or activist group, but rather a “sadistic criminal, terrorist death cult” and that it “must be defeated.”
“The suffering of the Palestinian people is a tragedy. Every innocent human life - Palestinian or Israeli. Jewish, Muslim, Christian or otherwise, is of equal precious value. All of us must do everything in our power to preserve this precious life and minimize the suffering of innocent civilians,” Poilievre said.
“Let us be clear though: This is not incidental to Hamas’ actions - It was the purpose of Hamas’ actions. Hamas not only seeks the maximum suffering of the Israeli people, it seeks the maximum suffering of Palestinians as well,” Poilievre added.
The eyes of the world have been on Gaza ahead of a looming Israeli ground offensive and mounting fears about the true scale of the humanitarian cost of an Israeli Defense Force (IDF) ground offensive and the potential for horrifying collateral damage. Five Canadians have been confirmed killed in the Hamas terrorist attack last week.

He is speaking in generalities for the innocence on both sides. If you’re going to start asking him to list each incident, be prepared for a list of Jewish victims as well. That accomplishes nothing. In future, we should never send cash to any country in need. Send food, tents, blankets etc. These can be procured closer to the recipient and utilize Canadian companies in the process.

Agree completely. Wondering however if Khalistani terrorists will be kicked out. Hindu temples have been repeatedly attacked in Canada especially in the recent past with no action or condemnation. You know, when Brigitte Gabriel made her famous comment to a Pro Islamic Supporter. She spoke of the "irrelevance" of specific Islamic groups of people, German people, Soviet people, and Chinese people. The people whom make up the population of Gaza chose for itself Hamas as their political leadership. In fact over 75% of the people of Gaza chose Hamas. That 25% were irrelevant. Hamas which is the Muslim Brotherhood decides the fate of Gaza. Same Gaza that Israel turned over to the people of Gaza without interference, except for the importation of illicit goods. Gaza was pretty much 100% Muslim. what did Gaza do in regards to its existence within its people compared to Israel? Hamas weaponized Gaza for war activities. The population of people were irrelevant. Instead of building better life for the people of Gaza. Hamas stoked up the war machine specifically to attack Israel according to the beliefs of Muslim Brotherhood Manifesto.
