@@zachcarter3186 Who said anything about being afraid. This is a situation where they run the oh my goodness the river is going to flood and it’s going to wipe everyone out. If they would have looked at it in the beginning you could see that it would not be a catastrophic release of water. Just the width of the slide would prevent that. It over topped the slide and is now eroding it away back down to the original river bed. The amount of flow is about the same as spring runoff only of shorter duration. There will be some debris pushed into Fraser and down into the straight.
