Probably not. This would’ve been avoided if the travel season wasn’t so busy right now and maintenance crews actually had ample time and rest to keep this aircraft’s landing gear in order. Everyone working the airport and airlines are stressed as heck and passengers are everywhere.

Air Canada told us they had a fire in the kitchen on the plane so they never served us food. I was near the "Kitchen" and there was no fire they just never bothered to load the food on the plane, then just lied to everyone when it was time for dinner to try and save money.

These incidents aren’t the end of the world. The plane’s safety system worked as it should (this aircraft had thicker padding next to the prop so it doesn’t pierce the cabin and everyone got off safely. These incidents are rare, and the fatal accidents even rarer. It’s even lower than lottery odds, by far.
