I’ve watched some of your videos before but I’m glad I’m watching this one about the look inside feature. I click that for all my Ingramspark books but it does show on any platform like Amazon or even Barnes and Noble. Is there a way to fix this ?

I've not found a way yet for the Look Inside to Show when uploading to IngramSpark. I'm not sure why?

Hello Romney! Your video is superb, you just got a sub. My question is must I drive external traffic before Ingram Spark will sell my books? Or are my books going to sell organically? I have been just very confused on this self publishing with Ingram Spark. Secondly, how will my readers identify my brand to be able to purchase more books from me on Ingram Spark? Please answer my questions to clear my doubts.🙏🙏🙏

My books have always sold organically. I've not advertised or directed traffic to IngramSpark for my book sales. In each book you publish you should also include details of other books you sell to drive brand awareness to your customers.

Hey Romney, I have two questions for you...Should we first publish on KDP or on ingram for the same book? I have been exclusively on KDP but am at the point where I will be using both. What is more advantageous publishing first on kdp and then on Ingram for the same book, or the other way around? And do we need our own barcode if we intend to publish on both?

I upload my book to Ingram (draft) using my purchased ISBN, then upload and publish to KDP (using the purchased ISBN) and then hit publish on Ingram.

Hi Romney! Thanks for another great video! I wanted to let you know that the voice audio cuts out several times. Sometimes it's not distracting and sometimes it clips enough of a word that it is. :-)

Hello Romney! Thank you very much for this video, I really appreciate your youtube videos and I learned a lot from you! I want to ask you if you think it is enough to publish my books only on Ingramspark since it will also publish them on other sites including KDP. I generally publish KDP activity books with richer content, that's why the number of books published monthly is not very high, around 3-5 books per month. How do you do it? Thanks!

IngramSpark will also add your book to Amazon KDP when you load your book to them. The problem is that you can't use Amazon Ads though if you don't also load the book to KDP. I purchase an ISBN and use the same ISBN for the exact same book to use when placing on Amazon and also IngramSpark. I don't have a great deal of info on KZbin on how to load your books etc to IngramSpark but I do have a popular course that is available on Udemy if that was of interest. Yes, but any books being loaded to IngramSpark must be high quality and pass their Integrity Unit. No Content books are not permitted.

Can you still make sales if Ingramspark distributes your paperback book into Amazon/bookstores *without* spending money on marketing? Or is marketing a *must* if you want to make sales through Ingramspark regardless??

The hardest part of Ingram is you don’t know where your sales are coming from? Is it on Amazon or other online stores? I find that I advertise initially and then they start to sell organically.

@@globalselfpublishing Oh ok, because I'm thinking of publishing my paperback book through Ingramspark especially as they can distribute it into bookstores but at the same time i'm wondering if my books will automatically sell as long as they are in bookstores? Because I don't want to spend so much money on marketing

Hi Max. I would suggest viewing my full back catelog of videos first becuase you will find that most of everything you need to know is contained there. I don't offer out my email because I would get hammered with questions, rather I address most in the comments of each video to avoid this.

Hello, At the 14.10 timestamp - You have the screen with the print info and print upload section in IngramSpark. Is it an option for ONLY our Brand name to appear on the book? We would have to input our Brand name into the name section. Or does IngramSpark just place our name automatically, we don't get a choice? Thanks

Yes, you can just place your Brand Name as the author. Eg. First Name: The Life Graduate Surname: Publishing Group. I've done that with many of my books.

Hello, Do we need to actually have the subtitle on the book somewhere? Or can we just have a subtitle BUT only have the main book title appear on the book?

Correct. The subtitle doesn’t need to appear on the cover but the title as you enter it into during the upload process does.
