I am glad you made this video and willing to speak about it. I my self I am new to self publisher and already published few books. The way I see this is who wants to become a self publisher go for it but remember you very first book will sucks and probably won’t have sells immediately however keep make more and more book as learn curve process and forget about get rich quick with KDP books. Do not get me wrong you will make some money when you starting make good quality books and that takes time. Does videos are purely click bait and if you ever watch them focus only on what matters and that could be type of book, seasonality, niche, software they are using, website for resources, etc. if was easy every one will be rich 💰 in so time and we no that is not. And that is all folks

I follow a few of these "gurus", only with the expectation of getting one or two helpful tips on kdp self publishing. Actually I even asked one of them to show some evidence of having success with Amazon kdp, however she never showed or made a video showing any proof of earnings. ... which leaves a big question mark to her followers in youtube. Appreciate the video. Thanks

Have you tried posting to potential Facebook groups, creating a KZbin short or TikTok to prommote your book. You need to think of other ways to promote your book and not just wait for the reviews to come in organically.

@@globalselfpublishing I just created Facebook ad to get some leads to give the book for free, but no one left me a review. I did not try tik tok and KZbin because I have no audience in these platforms, I think it is useful launching Amazon ads without reviews 😞

I have 7 books, and am only making about $600-$700 a month. I don't do the quantity over quality thing that seems to be all the rage. I release 1 book per month since October 2023. The first 3 months combined were about $450, but the other 4 months I've made over $2,000. Am I mad... HELL NO!!! I will have 20 books in my brand by this time next year, and I already have a following of people that buy every single one of them, and that group of people is also growing. I think a realistic number for me next year will be $1.5k - $2k per month, but I'm really hoping for a big upswing in the 4th quarter when I have 13 books in my horror series.
