Jimmy’s story is so inspiring and exciting to watch unfold. I’m sure a lot of us remember the war between pewds and T-series and how we fought to keep an individual creator on top of corporate media, only for it to eventually crumble down as T-Series overtook Felix. Since then, other big name companies have continued to pass pewdiepie and hold the top spots, seemingly signifying a new era of KZbin where the emphasis shifted away from individual creators to these soulless business. Then, when all hope seemed lost, Mr. Beast skyrockets to fame, bringing back interesting content that all stems from Jimmy, and it looks like he might be the man to overtake the giant that is T-Series. I sense another subscriber war on the horizon, get ready my fellow war-brethren.

Still remember occasionally checking the most subscribed list when I first got on KZbin. RayWilliamJohnson as 1, Nigahiga as 2 and Smosh as 3 will always be engrained in my mind. Crazy that it’s changed so much since then and it’s been wild watching it happen.

​@@NostalgiCrazy Actually no. I'm sorry to inform you but it's all mostly shorts channels now. The fastest growing channels have been consistently shorts channels for the past year and by next year we'll see some enter the top 50 list. I remember seeing this one shorts channel with 14 million subscribers gaining one million subscribers every 7 days. It's insanity. And some of these channels have like no long form videos uploaded too. KZbin has been pushing shorts so hard and it's kinda sad to see all remnants of the creators who built the platform be washed away.
