Bangkok Fine Dining at Na Oh Restaurant - Dinner in an Airplane 🇹🇭 Thailand

This is one of my all time favorite Global Travel Mate episodes! I’m a huge commercial aviation buff and that L-1011 TriStar is extremely cool and was truly revolutionary for its time. I believe it to have entered commercial service way back in 1972 with Eastern Airlines and TWA both being major customers. This plane could actually land itself with the same technology that was used in the Apollo moon landing missions. Unfortunately, the L-1011 was not a commercial success as the DC-10 was first on the market by a couple of years and was cheaper in cost than the L-1011. Also, that restaurant looked delicious and the art presented in that airplane was really cool. Art, cuisine, and aviation were the reasons why I loved this episode. I can’t believe that it’s already been 18 months since I’ve first seen this episode!

WOW! WHAT AN AMAZING RESTAURANT! THIS PLANE WAS SHOWN IN A BL SERIES BUT ONLY THE BACK OF THE INSIDE THEY DIDN'T SHOW IT AS A RESTAURANT SO THAT WAS WHY I WANTED TO SEE THE INSIDE TO SEE IF IT WAS THE SAME PLACE AND IT LOOKS AS IT WAS! ONE MORE REASON FOR ME TO GO TO BANGKOK!

Very nice. Thank you. As someone who very much misses western fine dining whilst in Thailand I appreciate the tip. I don't much care about the plane but I do enjoy quality menus and wine lists. Thank you again.

Wow 🤩 another great venue in amazing Bangkok ! That city never fails to surprise and amaze every time . Hope that they can weather this ongoing Covid storm and start soon to see more easing of the restrictions and that their customers numbers will start to rise 🙏 When I saw the inside of the place it gave me a dim vibe to “ Smalls” bar when I first went there a few years ago ! Very..very nice...lika a Noah's air ark... but stupid to clean off the cockpit...I would have kept the instrument panels🚦🎛🎚🎧 and pilot seats and just put a little table for drinks between the pilot & Co pilot seat...so you could look out the windows but of course,he was going for a theme.Thanx Mr.J &Mrs.Mirela & Co 🙏
