you are very lucky brother. I am a doctor of pharmacy in Morocco, 47 years old. I was expecting a visa to visit zagreb and split on February 16, 2022. I submitted my application on December 16, 2021. Yesterday I received a refusal from the Croatian consul in Morocco. the cause: my passport is blank, I have never traveled abroad. I cry alone like a child. I feel weak and humiliated.

Don't worry bro, there are many places in Europe to visit. Try Poland for example. :) I strongly recommend visiting Krakow/Warsaw/Gdansk. You shouldn't have problems in acquring visa.

Yes, Zagreb is one of the most safest cities in Europe and Croatia in general. There are practicly no scamers on streets like in prague or some biger european cities. It is very very underated, plus it is very cheap if you are from western part of the world. Croatian people are very hospitable they will expalain you everthing you want to know and they are very handsom too, both man and women. I would highly recomend you to visit.

Zagreb is nowhere 1000 years old. It was established in 1850.

Zagreb is older then 1000 years but it did not carry name Zagreb but other names, Zagreb was named little bit later in history, but findings about that area even go back to romans but as i said earlier it was not named Zagreb then. The name Zagreb is mentioned in documents in 1094. Source: Zagreb tourist community
