give her the breeze and you can average 7-8kts...surfing waves up to 12=14kt and best seen under kite is 9-10k...best days run is currently 153 miles but that will easily be beaten in the weeks ahead...and remember these boats are heavily laden for long distance not club racing fun! :)

@@ClassGlobe580 Thnx for the detailed response. Another question: I see some boats have dagger boards (not sure if this is what they're are called) fitted on the stern and some don't. How much do they help? I assume if they do it would be in strong running conditions with a bigger sea?

153 is a very decent run for any small boat (except a mini6.50). Considering the weight they are carrying that’s very good.
