Something that's really exciting for me is that Takeharu Ishimoto is making the music for this game. He made the music for Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core and both The World Ends With You Games. So at the very least we know that the music will be great.

I’m so glad it’s an arena fighter. Mostly because arena allow dozens upon dozens of characters. And Bleach has too many iconic characters. If it was a 2D fighter made by ArcSys, they’d limit it to 25-30 characters and probably 12-15 dlc. And you can’t add more because balance. 2D fighters lately don’t go beyond 40-50 characters. And there’s too many cool bleach Characters to pass up. Plus with everyone having to be “balance” and the movement being restricted to 2D…yeah no. Big SF/KOF fan, but I want a bleach experience first…and not a 2D fighter with Bleach skins on top of it. I’m glad it’s arena. No character restriction. No movement restriction. And fanservice! And I hope it has something like KLK which is for me the best arena fighter ever made mechanically. I’d be so happy. Also, Tamsoft did Battle Arena Toshinden. That’s interesting.

Yeah as much as people won't like to hear this, arena fighter is probably the only genre that really works if you want a Bleach experience. There were attempts at 2D Bleach games in the past but they weren't that great

Wait can you please explain I’m not a big gamer (but Bleach is my favorite anime of all time I know all of it by heart) besides Nintendo Switch I was obsessed with like super smash bros co-op style game and DLC concepts and every character being unique with their own move-set and skills. Why exactly are people complaining? Is it because it’s repetitive from old Bleach console games? I guess I’m trying to understand what the fan base was wanting? Did they want like an Elden Ring type of game concept? To be honest people aren’t appreciative enough just because they revealed a new game should be enough said to be fucking grateful. Like would they rather have nothing instead? @@cution97 People been complaining about arena fighters since Jump Force and One Punch Man A Hero Nobody Knows in which are both made by Spike Chunsoft who had a reputation of making terrible arena fighter games. Now with Tamsoft who is known for making Senran Kagura games is the developers behind this new Bleach game. So they should have a better understanding of making a proper battle arena game.

Confirmed adaptation for full arrancar arc which will pressumably end at the ichigo vs Aizen fight in fake karakura town for the main story and that leaves us room for tybw/fullbringer arcs as dlc content 🔥

Btw people not only is this the first bleach game in a long time but going to the end of the arrancar arc is a good starting line If I’m correct this is the actual first bleach game to adapt the beginning until the end of the arrancar saga. All the past games just usually start off from a certain point like Soul Resurrection only covered the arrancar arc. Heat the soul only started from certain points each game. Also I don’t even think we have a console game that goes into the Fullbring arc?? I wanna say the only one that goes into it is BBS. Let em cook so they can adapt everything else and build on their already existing models.

Also the roster is going to be large. The original group, the captains, vice captains, vizards and the arrancars. And this not even including transformations. They also could cover the movies and the filler arcs for DLC as well. Same can be said for the fullbring arc too(unless they save that for a sequel along with TYBW since it should be finished within the next 2-4 years.)
