BURN THE WITCH returning for Season 2 with hints of a link to the upcoming BLEACH Hell arc. There are hints of a big BLEACH 20th anime anniversary project too. With the TYBW second half having over 60 chapters worth of anime-exclusive content written by Kubo, and the possibility of Studio Pierrot adapting the BLEACH light novels when TYBW anime ends.

The bleach filler got a bad rep because: 1. The bount arc was infamous bad, which was the first filler arc and set the standard and expectations of many fans. 2. Back in the day a lot of people didn't know filler was filler and now they hate it. 3. The filler was forced in at really bad moments like right before Grimmjow vs ichigo or Ichigo vs Ulquiorra, really killing the hype out of nowhere.

The Hell arc has to happen, it has already started in the one-shot he did years after TYBW. The anime is also hinting to the Hell arc with a forshadowing in the new scenes of cour 2 episode 11. I don't think Kubo is on that "togashi" type of lazy mindset as he wouldn't be this involved in the anime if that wasn't the case. The anime has to finish up before kubo starts continue the manga as the new materials are probably going to have some more relevance to the hell arc.

I think it is highly likely that the Kuboverse will go beyond Kubo and in many ways it already has. As someone trying to make my own comic series I feel like the idea of making something bigger than yourself that can bring either joy, comfort, humor, understanding, etc to people is what we strive to accomplish. Or perhaps that something already exists and it drives us to make art or to at least try far beyond what any sane person would bother with.
