The only reason that Nomu doesn't have a level 2 that makes sense is that the moveset was taken directly from the Nomu in the first game and that moveset didn't have a level 2 and then they forgot to give him one. It obviously wasn't to nerf him because he's bad and if it's his own gimmick, it doesn't make much sense because that's just a bad gimmick. I like playing as him even though he's trash but definitely sucks that he doesn't have a level 2, especially with his meh level 1

In my opinion I think he's a decent character and could definitely be a lot better but personally I really like him and I've been doing pretty well with him and having a good time using him. It just sucks that you can't get a lot of damage unless you use meter or an assist. Definitely not top tier. I'd say he's like a low B tier. He is very mid tier in my opinion. If he didn't rely on assist and meter so much I'd put him as the top/best B tier character in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Three things from day one that I think could really improve this character are a faster red start-up (Not by much but make it not take a year to hit), more consistency on on TQ1 (it can miss completely so maybe more ranged and/vertical tracking), and a little bit quicker recovery on Q1, if he doesn’t get more range for it. These would let him play a bit more aggressive without relying on projectile hit-confirms to get in.

You can use his tilt quirk 1 to rush down the enemy if it hits it has a long range then the reg quirk 1 so if they are out of range use that one then rush them down the moment it hits this works I have tested this

To be frank I’ve been maining hawks for 2 years and I’ve learned to work with his moves but two annoyances for me is the recovery time but mainly the TQ dash..sometimes when I’m doing a combo, it never registers when I’m doing the move..granted it’s like that for some of the other characters like Sir nighteye which would be nice to rework on that as far as programming it to respond to the player’s choice in doing the TQ..but to sum up hawks within the game, he’s a character that is easily punishable 99% percent of the time..and to be frank, it’s a buzz kill for him as a whole because of the issue of his recovery time and move set no matter how creative you get with it, you’re overall going to get punished..

I got the first one for 15 bucks on PS4 and I genuinely enjoyed it but it seems like 2 is kinda a hard sell for me. First one was great but 2 seems to punish people who want the DLC in Online. Watched a friend of mine who's a big hawks fan get washed online day 1. Waited so long, only to immediately go back to Bakugou main. Fun character to make work but it's kind of like playing a worse Krillin if we're comparing it to Fighterz. Krillin has okay close range that's unpredictable but his zoning is kickass. Hawks on the other hand is a anti Krillin he can't do anything that isn't predictable and his Zoning is meh at best.

I can see why many people wouldn’t like him because of his move set. It’s everyone’s opinion. Personally I like him, he tailors to how I play the game, closing in on my opponent fast in order to get damage done and get out when I need to. But you are correct his combos aren’t the best in the world. Only good damage I can get off is when I use supports. His potential as a support character is pretty good though

Ive tried running him a little. One combo i found for normal attack untill the enemy spins out about hit 4 A special into rappa assist 3 hit normal into the double dash Follow with a plus ultra 1 or 2 Ends in about a 49 to 51 hit combo off plus ultra 2 And it plus ultra 1 you can end it with an assist like ida for a little extra damage if its gonna kill

To be honest I can see how now everyone will play as him but in the end there only will be few people who are actually maining Hawks. To be honest I never liked Hawks in the anime/manga. But I hoped that he would be really good in the game. I'm a little disappointed from what I've seen so far and I don't plan on buying him. Right now I'm waiting for Tetsu and Gentle since they are the only ones that sound really interesting and fun I guess.

I think hawks is pretty op he hits any assists you use if attacking and his attacks hit backwards so you can barely sidestep unless you dodge at his 2 attack his armor move if you side step it it will hit you from behind and if you use yellow or red attack when you sidestep it still breaks your armor or hits you

In my opinion, all fighting games like these are kinda the same: they all have the same gameplay and goals. However, if you like My Hero Academia I really recommend this game! Every character has different abilities and their quirks are used in fun, interesting ways! Plus you get a lot of bonus material like voice lines, mission mode, arcade mode and online! I really love this game honestly! If you’re not that deep into MHA, I don’t think it’s as interesting, but it’s still very fun to play!

Going to have to disagree for a couple of reasons. Firstly, you put Bakugo and Seiji rather high on your tier list and I know for a fact they have poor Damage without assistance. I do agree that they’re strong, and for the same reason I believe Hawks is. His neutral is excellent and he is really good at opening people up and capitalizing on weak defense with his dash quirk one. You don’t even go into an animation, similar to Seiji which gives you a free opening for damage. His red and quirk two can wall splat for extra damage (Difficult to hit though you need to be very close to the wall) and if you use an assist after his quirk two (His combo finisher) the combos you do meteor a lot slower because of the meteor value on it which is rather low. However Bakugo’s assist is rather poor at hitting them unlike rappa, who’s assist will almost always catch them after the last hit of the quirk two. You can get up to 15,000 damage with one assist and a level one, which in my eyes is pretty strong. And he has a projectile level one. And lastly, if someone does chase you down during your block string after using the tilt quirk two to make it safe, just press it again. The second hit comes out really fast, and can catch people trying to attack. Obviously better with assists but he is pretty good even though he has low damage.
