A little history:
Way back in 2018, hubby bought the GlocalMe G3 Mobile Hotspot. We used it for close to a year before doing our review of it. We wanted to make sure it was dependable, and actually did what we bought it to do. Turns out, it did and quite well, in fact. We initially wanted this to connect our devices to the internet when we were cruising internationally. It was great for that, but hubby found it was so convenient that he started using it around town to connect his laptop or iPad. He was using it to work at the park, at friends houses, on long car trips, and even sitting in the parking lot of the grocery store. In fact, he’s been using it almost every week for close to two years. But it’s time to retire this guy.
It still works perfectly, but GlocalMe saw our first review, and asked us if we’d like to try out the latest model, and we said yes! They are not paying us, and they didn’t tell us what to say. But, we always want to be clear when we get stuff this way. So now we have the GlocalMe G4 Pro. We’ve had this newer model for over a month now, and we think it’s pretty cool. Obviously, it’s thinner and has way more screen, but what else is new? We'll get into all the details in this video, and let you know how you can decide if a GlocalMe G4 Pro would be good for you.

Hey! What's hubby say about how it engages with Zoom? I've purchased it solely to get on a Zoom conference while on vacation (our beach house doesn't have wifi, but cellular is great on the island). Ideally would love to connect to my laptop on the beach as the mtg is sucking 4 hours from my vacation :-)

You left off a major sticking point to the end. It does you no good if you can't get its service in your area. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to find out if you can get service until you buy the thing. For example, the coverage map covers the continental United States, which is grossly misleading.

I am trying to understand how this thing works but i don't quite get it!!! Can someone tell me how exactly doea this device work? So, this device work with your mobile hotspot? not a hone router?, you don't need home internet for this? Just your phone wifi???

it's its own internet through mobile 4G LTE. It acts as your internet connection. You don't need separate internet.

Hmmmm... all the functionality of a $200 Unlocked Android Phone! Except YOU CANNOT TALK ON IT! What am I missing? (looking for something I could bolt under the dash of a car so I NEVER want to use the display). Anyone?

The standby/work time is far superior to a $200 unlocked android phone. Also, for international travel it has LTE bands for basically any country (most unlocked phones are missing some). It also can take an alternate sim (along with the VSIM built in).
