Been a Glock competitor, Glock concealed carry, Glock armor since 1991...... they don’t keep up with evolving the pistol well. Just sold all my Glocks and replaced them with M&P’s across the board. Couldn’t be happier.

I own all three with the M&P being the latest acquisition. For me, the Glock took a back seat a long time ago. First to the PPQ, then the P-10c and most recently, the M&P Compact. There was a time when the Glock ruled as number one. That just hasn't been true for a long time now. Top three in my view? The M&P 2.0 Compact, the PPQ and then the P-10c. Glock comes in well behind those three and even behind my H&K P30/VP9 and the 'lowly' Canik TP9sf-elite (that trigger!). Every year we hear about the next "Glock Killer". The truth is, it isn't any one gun that is killing Glock. It is several guns produced by manufacturers who, unlike Glock, aren't resting on their laurels and are actually listening to what people want. There is no longer any excuse at all for Glock not doing something about their mediocre trigger, those crap sights, that crummy grip and that "just how cheap and ugly can we make it" slide. Yeah, I know... the Glock is incredibly reliable. Well you know what? So are a lot of other handguns on the market. "Reliable" is no longer a special feature. It is something we expect in any new, good quality handgun. You want "Glock Perfection"? Buy a new M&P Compact 2.0 and spend the price difference on an Apex trigger. That's the perfection Glock should have achieved a long time ago.... except they didn't. Smith & Wesson, along with CZ, Walther, H&K, Beretta and even Canik, are taking the game to a whole new level. By comparison, Glock is running on momentum only... and that momentum is quickly diminishing.

You can add EAA (Tanfoglio) to the list of companies who have surpassed Glock. You can get a polymer EAA Witness for at least $100-$200 less than a Glock and get a far superior handgun.

What I will say is in the store back to back they don't feel that far apart. once you get* the 2.0 to the range and it gets a tiny amount of wear pattern, its night and day. Because hinge trigger I went apex anyways.

I have to agree, I carried the Glock 19 Gen 4 ever since it came out. I carry the Glock 43 daily and love it but this 2.0 compact has retired my Glock 19 to the safe. The m&p m2.0 compact is the shit! I love the factory trigger! Great video as always!

M&P 2.0c was my first handgun a little over a year ago. Love it to death and has been outstandingly accurate with all stock components. Even after having a couple other handguns and shooting my grandad's Sig and m&p shield, it's held it's place as my most accurate and comfortable to shoot pistol.

packinaglock it's a SWEET pistol! IMO the Glock felt smaller with a bigger grip, whereas the 2.0c felt like a "bigger" gun with a smaller grip. But are literally the same size.

Just purchased an M&P 2.0. At the range I rented a SpringfieldHD, Glock 19, SIG320, and the M&P2.0. The M&P felt great in the hands, was the most accurate for me, and had the best trigger for me. The sights were also the best out of the 4. I was very impressed.

Put on a H B Industries trigger and you will be blown away how nice the P10 really is..simply the best upgrade you can do.. I know the stock trigger is great but the HB is just THAT much better..and VERY easy to install.

@@hurt1704 its trigger and spring kit.. I did not use spring.. It removes most of the take up to the wall.. it is set farther back and is super smooth.. The factory trigger was VERY good but it is simply amazing.. I tried the other springs that CLAIM to give it a lighter trigger pull but if it did it was hardly noticable and i did not want to chance light primer strikes so I left factory spring and its about 4lbs which is light enough for me.. It gave it about as much of a single action feel as I have ever felt on a striker fire..big thumbs up!

Not being a Glock guy myself, I have no particular BIAS toward any of them. That being said, having evaluated all 3 of them recently the CZ P10C comes out on top, the M&P 2.0 2nd, and the Glock 3rd. My favorite to shoot overall is the CZ P10C.

I own a Glock 19 and it's a darn good gun. However, after being introduced to the stippling on the M&P 2.0 Compact, I had to have this gun. I bought it and love it. The sights (metal) are better than the plastic "bucket" sights on my Glock 19 and the grip is simply amazing.

I tried all three also, the GEN 5 G19 was still just a Glock to me, the P-10c hurt my hand to shoot it for some reason, the M&P9c 2.0 is just such a joy to hold and was quickest on steel. My P-10c was the most accurate pistol I've ever fired... An astounding 5 MOA at 100. I was at a public range and was shooting the pistol better at 100 off hand than some of the people were with their rifles off the bench! My favorite without question is the Smith & Wesson M&P 9C 2.0.

The notch on the front strap of the Gen 5 G19 digs into my pinky. I never had issues with stripping a mag from the gun so I see it as a bit of a gimmick. This is the first time I have preferred the G17 (due to it keeping my pinky off of the notch).

I hate the Glocks grip angle and texture and thick short grip but I do trust it. It's a beauty contest or trying on suits. But as long as I know it does what it needs to do I'm fine. There's always a spot for a Glock.

My personal favorite is the P10c, and it absolutely comes down to ergonomics. I've never found "stippling" to be as good at providing grip as some aggressive bumps and nubs, and the P10c has some seriously aggressive grip texture. Not enough to be uncomfortable to carry, but enough to seriously mitigate recoil when firing.

The M&P made me a believer. The 1911 has always been my horse. It didn't matter if my horse ever won a race, it was still my horse because it was what I shot best and FORTY FIVE, BABY! In thinking about it honestly, 9, 40, and 45 are so close in effectiveness and the 9 has such a capacity advantage, I figured what it really comes down to is how well I can shoot it. So I tried out 9mm pistols in different configurations from 1911 to double/single action to striker-fired. Guess what happened.... The M&P 2.0 Compact is my horse now. The trigger take-up of striker-fired pistols was foreign to me and took some getting used to, but being that the trigger is the only safety on these pistols having some movement ahead of the 'wall' is a good idea. This new pistol allows me to slow down and be surgical or quickly place multiple shots close together... it's SO FREAKIN' LIGHT compared to a 1911... and SIXTEEN ROUNDS! Excuse me, I need to go brush my new horse.

Same haha I was literally at academy after the gym at 10pm (the gun shop i prefer was closed by the time) because i finally said "fuck it im buying my new gun now" I was walking in with complete plans to buy the glock 19 Saw the FDE 5" m&p and asked to hold it (had seen it in ads while gun researching) and immediately fell in love and bought it right then and there Luckily my father in law bought his first gun shortly after, from me tlaking about guns around him, and he got the G19. Ive shot it and enjoy it but prefer my M&P Im a m&p guy at this time

Sweet thorough overview. Great job. Have owned Gen 3&4 G19. Currently do not, nor anticipate owning any 19's.. running with M&P M2.0 4" 9&40c's. Sweet deals on very good guns. NIB a while back at $349 and $299 respectively. Also enjoy my remaining 22, 27 and 30 Glocks, all Gen 4 among other Shields etc. Nice to have options. I could guess right off you enjoyed the P10c the way you tricked it out. Other than sights, mine are basic out of box stock. Love them all. Life is good indeed. Be well and safe. I daily carry 2 glock 17 gen 4's Honestly, it's a good "jack of all trades master of none" type of gun. I used to have a sig p320, and a s&w 2.0 but i just sold em to buy extra ammo. i never carried them, i just prefer the light weight of the plastic glocks accompanied by the finger grooves. i don't know why, but those finger grooves rock.

Have a new 19 and love it. The big thing going for the Glock is the popularity of the weapon. My Keltec Sub 2000 and an AR Pistol all use the 19 mags which are readily available. Ideal for a Zombie Apocalypse.

Nice over all review, of these three guns, I have both the new Glock Gen 5's, the 19 and 17, and like them over my Gen 4's, but the Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 Compact is pretty darn nice, I have one on order right now, and was able to handle one at my LGS the other day, it feels great in my hand, although I'll most likely put the M/L back strap on it when I get it home, and the trigger on the one I tried was very nice for a stock trigger, I live in Southern Oregon, and haven't even seen a CZ P-10, because I was told there weren't that many to go around, but I look forward to seeing one first hand, thanks for doing these reviews HO, it's much appreciated...

I've had my M&P 2.0 Compact long enough to put a thousand rounds down range. More recently, I did identify one problem. I wanted to try the M/L backstrap. Put it on and immediately noticed that the magazine would no longer drop free. It would drop about half way and then stop. I had to manually strip the mag to get it out. I noticed that one other person identified the same problem via a review of the gun on Brownells website. I went back to the factory default medium backstrap and it solved the problem. Not yet sure why the M/L caused the problem but I don't think it was just my gun. All that said, this new M&P compact is still an incredible handgun and an amazing cost value.

Many years ago I held a P-10 C at a gun shop. I thought the ergos were exceptional and that it had a pretty good darn good trigger. I didn't get to shoot it, though. For some reason or another I kept passing one up in favor of other pistols. That was until a few days ago. For slightly more than 3 benjamins, it made it a no brainer purchase. I hope it turns out to be as good as this video review depicts it and leaves my Sig, Steyr, Glock, and Canik pistols in the dust.

The Glock is probably going to be a solid #3 firearm now, but one thing it has going for it is if you're police or military you can get them for around $380-$450 depending on the model, and it has been easier for me to find Glock LE dealers with stock than S&W and other distributors.

I have carried a G19 for a few years now, but just bought a CZ P-10c last week. I had a slidelock spring fail on the Glock, which caused the slide to completely slide off the top of the frame. I replaced the spring and takedown lever, but I haven't been able to trust it since. I think more emphasis should be placed on comparing the firearms in their stock form, while still noting that the aftermarket support is definitely more for the S&W and Glock. When you have to drop in an almost $180 trigger to make the Glock (already the most expensive option on the table) shoot as well as the others, its not exactly apples-to-apples anymore. The same applies to the Apex triggers for S&W. Overall, great review. I considered the S&W; the ergonomics are great, but the P-10C just seemed like what I wanted right out of the box (although, I know I'll be throwing some Talon grips on it post-haste).

It all comes down to the things that you value most. On that note, I notice that he did not stress that Glocks are everywhere. So are the magazines and parts. If it all goes to Hell, you can pick up stuff for Glocks anywhere. That being said, I have the CZ. It's a great gun. And I 'm sure I could use it to get a Glock during the Apocalypse, or whatever is coming.

I have owned Glock17, SW Shield ,Sig365 and Beretta92. Probably me but Glock was least accurate for me. I put some after market sights on my 365 and love it. Beretta is 2nd only because its harder to conceal hear in S. FL.

What your looking at is the 3 best striker fired compacts on the market today.. My M&P9 2.0 is my Go to war gun.. I adore the M&P pistols.. My service gun is a Glock and have shot Glocks the most and still like them alot but give the edge to the M&P line.. I have not got a chance to shoot the P10c but I know CZ makes great stuff as I have some of their other products

Own all three. Shoot all three. All three stock except for sights (identical Trijicon sights). Glock is definitely third place in my rotation. Great gun, but trigger sucks in comparison. The difference between the Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 Compact and the CZ P10C is the difference between a honeycrisp apple and a gala apple. You really can''t go wrong with either. The S&W goes on my nightstand every night, but you can't go wrong with any of these three.

Everything about the M&P is great except for the stock trigger. Price kinda goes out the window when imo it requires a 170 dollar trigger to be comfortable to fire. 440+170=610

Benjamin Idoni the stock m&p 2.0 trigger is better than a glock trigger. The CZ has both beat, but I prefer the 2.0 for other reasons

I thought that I saw/read that to upgrade the trigger on the 2.0, buying to whole kit may not be necessary. Just change the trigger to a straight one and polish it to smooth out the travel. I thin k that was about half the 170.00 kit.

p-10 c and the p320 are glock killers "FACT" Because to date a lot of glock fanboys have jumped ship. Evolution in firearm is a good thing . Id have to agree. I just bought a P10 C. I have the 3.6" M&P. M&P is built better than the rest. I shoot the Glock the best, these are my 3 favs. Love the M&P tho
