Bro no not at all glocks should be able to run zero gun oil they don’t even come with any on them they come with copper anti seize witch is like and oil but not and mainly for the break in period after the guns been fired the copper oxides that’s what gives you the green the first time you clean a factory Glock now a properly clearanced frame just the frame when you make these p80s should be all that’s needed don’t sand your barrel or slide you may make it worst if your having locking issues in the barrel slide well sorry to tell you this you might be fucked should have built it with factory oem Glock parts kit and make sure it’s real factory parts kit top and bottom their is clones advertised as real ones also only use factory Glock mags if you do this you should be able to stay alive in 2023 America lol

A couple things could be happening 1. The guide rod spring could be catching the sides of the channel - you may need to grind down the channel some more 2. The recoil spring maybe too weak, I had to buy a 22lb spring to get that slide to reset 3. The safety plunger could be getting caught with in the slide not letting the slide reset- I purchased a polished plunger

The trigger pack, particularly the silver insert for the rear, often has manufacturers blems on the parts that are bent and the areas around as well. Take the trigger assembly out and give it a bit of attention with sandpaper or a dremel if you can be careful.

Had this same problem. “If” you purchased a new guild rod from the Glockstore, try replacing it with the factory glock guild rod. The Glockstore rod with a 16lbs spring, was more like a 12lbs spring. It didn’t have enough tension to hold in place when firing it would slightly slip off and wouldn’t go back into battery without pushing the slide forward. Trying to return anything to the Glockstore is a nightmare. Their customer service is absolutely garbage. 95% of their products are crap. Check their reviews before purchasing anything from the Glockstore. You have been warned!

Check an make sure u have a oem recoil spring and make sure you're trigger housing spring is good. Next check you're striker plunger make sure the spring is good. After tht make sure you have a clear passage for the recoil spring. Check these an not exactly in these steps. Just trouble shoot it, I got mine to shoot flawless the first time an never jammed.

@chrisd5758 Жыл бұрын
Yea because your tolerances are way off, either didn't remove enough material or drilled holes wrong and after a few hundred rounds the internal parts wore that excess materal down causing premature wear on other parts. Not a good thing my friend.

@@chrisd5758honestly as long as he used the jig the holes are drilled correctly he just has to break it In especially if it’s his first time shooting it
@chrisd5758 Жыл бұрын
@@prophetbaby5569 The thing is if you build it right, you don't need a "break in" period. When you have to "break it in" because it keeps having malfunctions, it's because you either didn't drill your holes right, didn't file your rails down properly or you didn't remove enough material from the guide rod channel. Also cheap crappy parts make a big difference too.
