The Glock 19x is the best of both worlds when it comes to Glocks two most popular models , the Glock 17 and the 19. Basically a love child of the two. lol. It was supposed to be a contract gun for the US military but it got beat out by Sig Saure but Glock released it to the public anyway. It’s the first Glock to come from factory with a different color slide than black.

Love the video. Love the safety as well, the lanyard look on the Glock was only for the 19x for the military so that if they were running if it were to fall out it would be tied to them so they wouldn’t lose it.

The 19x is such a bad ass gun! I love carrying it on cross-country road trips as it holds a lot of “freedom seeds” and holsters nicely on my side while seated in the vehicle, unlike the longer Glock 17.

I love my Glock. I keep it on my nightstand for self defense as opposed to daily carry. I’d rather lose a cheaper gun if that was to happen then my Glock.

Great unboxing and review! According to the book, "The Glock Reference Guide" by Robb Manning, the Glock 19X is the"Second" hybrid Glock with the Glock 30S preceding the 19x by a few years. The Glock 30S has a Glock 30 frame and and Glock 36 slide. Just FYI!

Awesome video! I was going to order this package as well but I ended up getting the 19x mos version. It has a threaded barrel, suppressor height sights, and the slide already cut for a red dot optic. It was 715

That’s a good deal. I bout mine because it was my first Glock. I didn’t really see a need for all the bells and whistles but I once I get to a point where I’m comfortable with this one I will definitely be buying an upgraded version

@@JustInSmokyMountainReviews my first pistol was a sig p320 I kinda did an impulse buy on it and later on realized I could not put a red dot on because of the slide. So I knew when I got my next one I would get something either the slide already cut. I’ve been thinking about getting the m17 x kit to turn the 320 into an optics rdy m17 and it comes with the similar 3 mags to the glock

Hey buddy, nice Firearm, i am awaiting my 19X. Hopefully i will receive mine in the next month or two. In South Africa you have to wait quite long for approval of a new firearm.

Where I live. It’s about a 20 minute process. It goes through state and our department of homeland security but you leave with the gun same day

@@JustInSmokyMountainReviews Yeah, South Africa is tough on gun laws, for self-defense you are only allowed one firearm (pistol or shotgun only) but for sport shooting you can have multiple rifles etc (as long as you have sport shooting and hunting license). For a new person getting their first firearm it can take up to a year or even two. Not complaining at least citizens can own guns in this country.
