Great video! I've done something similar with my 20. I have a factory 21 slide and barrel for 45 acp, and a 460 Rowland barrel and spring for that. The stock 20 slide houses a Lone Wolf 40 S&W barrel, and I've got a Lone Wolf Longslide for the 10mm and 9x25 Dillon. What I really like is that Longshot and Blue Dot powder will work with all these cartridges! I think I'll look at the Mech Tech, but It's going to be hard to decide between 45 ACP, 10 mm, or 460 Rowland! Thank you!

There is a guy in Illinois all the does is guy new Glocks and sell them as parts if you want a Glock slide or you can call Luke Johnson at Lone Wolf and get a slide from them like i did. They are about $300.00

+Antoua B You can get a lone wolf or kkm 10mm conversion barrel for your 21 or even better yet get a 460 rowland which is more devastating. Be willing to reload though as all of the boutique ammo is expensive to shoot on the regular. I believe most of the major brands (Lee, Dillon, RCBS, etc) make dies for the most popular boutique loads (10mm, 9 x25, 460 rowland, etc.) Keep your 21 and 41, their frames are exactly the same as the 20 and 40. Extremely good firearms!

The Glock 21 and Glock 20 have the same frame. You can do every conversion he did with your Glock 21. Now doing that with your Glock 41 is a different story. So relax. As long as you have the Glock 20/21 you can do everything.

Of the list of conversions listed for both, the only two you can not do are the 9mm & 38 Super, but you can get conversion barrels to do the: 357 Sig, 9x25 Dillion, 40 S&W, 10MM, 400 Corbon, 40 Super, & 460 Rowland. That is why I chose the model 21 in 45 ACP.

You mention that the 40 Super is perhaps a 460 Rowland necked down, it actually isn't. The 40 Super's parent case is the 45 Winchester Magnum but with increased thickness of the cartridge web area up to the shoulder. Supposedly stronger than the 45 W.Magnum case. Great video showing all the very interesting available conversions.

For anyone wanting to do this, I would only do the top 2 conversion for the Glock 20 or 29, and that's the 40 & 357 Sig. Just 2 barrels and you just use the same magazine.

DAN LAROCA the stock barrel/spring and mags will shoot 40sw you dont need anything extra...i have a 29sf and after getting proficient with it using 10mm i mainly shoot 40sw out of it since 10mm is so damn expensive...im praying LW makes a 9mm conversion for my model! i had no idea this was an option...however the upper slide is MUCH beefier/heavier than any of the 9mm models so i can see that potentially causing a cycling issue even with the replacement spring... also, how exactly do have to modify the 10mm mags? Anyone have any experience with the 9mm conversion? any info would be appreciated...im DEF doing it if its reliable!!

Thank you for the info on the Glock 20 conversions. I think i will be going with the 9x25 dillion or the 357 sig. I have a 30 converted to 40 super with a kkm barrel & comp and it shoots like a kitten with the comp. I did have to go with a 23 lb Tungsten Spring due to the fact there is so much pressure in that round it bent 3 flanges on standard springs. Have a great day Sir!!!

I own Glock 20C 22C, 23,24C, 27. I have fired .40 SW out of my 20C 10mm without any problems. The only difference between 10mm and .40sw is the length of the cartridge, The 10mm is about 1/8 in longer to accommodate more propellant.The 10 mm has a stiffer recoil spring 17lbs vs 15lbs. It cycled fine. No damage to the 10mm barrel the same as shooting .38sp out of .357.

You left out a couple of calibers. You left out .357 sig conversion barrel. You left out the .45 gap conversion barrel. Yeah you need ejector swaps. This guy is ignoring it. I dont think what he is doing is a good idea. Yeah sure, 11 calibers, but pretty none of them are reliable. The case of the glock 23 is different. 9mm and 357 sig dont need ejector swaps. Also these glock 20 and 21 wont take 9mm or 40sw mags you need conversion mags I think. Honestly this video is misleading.

You can now add TCM 9r to that list so that's 4 different types of ammo threw the Glock 27 if Armscore makes the full upper kit. I been looking into these multi caliber type of side arms an back up handguns as well as AR 15 style rifles for when #shtf. I micromanage think on situation like this. Great video in detail for me as I continue my search an homework. I Been looking at 10mm Glock 20 an want Baby Glock to match. Also the AR57 5.7x28 is one of my first buys because of conversion aspects into a 556 and others. Trying to cover all bases if I need a clip from a friend at zombie or any time...

@4:48........my friend, the 9x25 Dillon has SEVERE recoil. More than a 10mm. And also....to shoot 45 Super you need a stronger recoil spring AND a FULLY supported chamber (lone wolf barrel) or you will be in for a ka-boom. You can't just shoot 45 Super out of a stock G21. The 45 Super has a much thicker web for the much higher pressure round.

I my opinion necked rounds with a 90 grain bullet don't recoil as much as a 180 grain 10mm and a 45 super at 1000 feet per second is not a 460 Rowland in fact it is little more than a 45 ACP. And if you watch the video I don't use any Glock barrels I have no use for them.

Just a barrel and spring is not all thats needed for 9mm/38 super, the extractor and ejector are not sized for a rim that small. It may work, but most likely not 100%. You need a whole new slide for that... Also all you need for a 40 s&w coversion (since your not worried about things being fit to size) is to just load up .40 in the mag and go to town in its original 10mm version. It works just fine, the chamber is just a little longer than needed for the 40.

+glenwood89420 It is very interesting with regards to the 40 cal out of the 10mm barrel you are absolutely right even S&W states that in the instructions. However, if you don't want the carbon build up like you get from shooting 38's in 357 mag revolvers you should use a 40 cal barrel. On the topic of extractors and slides that probably would be optimum but that massive extractor that Glock uses hasn't failed me yet and i have shot at least 2000 38 supers and 5000 9mm out of this thing and have had no glitches.

+David Figueroa Don't know to much about 50 GI maybe Lone Wolf has info on that. 40 Super is a round based off 45 win mag neck down so it takes 45 magazines, The 460 Rowland is a longer 45 cartridge with a thicker base so 45 magazine as well.

I don't think I could justify all the exotic rounds. 10mm is exotic enough for me. But I think it's very proactive policy to be able to convert a semi-exotic 10mm to more common calibers like 9mm or .45ACP in a SHTF or TEOTWAWKI situation. When infrastructure goes to pits, have an option to use the conventional calibers as a backup to your primary. That could be a whole other gun, or a bag of conversion kits.

I believe this can also convert to .22lr if not mistaken. As for the 9mm, you mention having to crimp the magazine a bit for the rounds to fit, will standard glock 17 mags not fit this one? How much did that glock 21 upper run you too? By the way i love oak tree gun club, lived up in the valley for a few years and i went there religiously, i live back in san diego now and work at a large indoor range, but whenever someone asks about good shotgun ranges, some mention p2k down here but i always inform them of oak tree, to me that place is worth the drive all day long over some of the lame ones we have down here. Better service and just a nicer experiance.. if any of yall are in the so cal region looking for a great outdoor range, oaktree is the spot to go. Not mention they have an onsite bbq and bar for after you are done with shooting! And they have archery now. Check em out for sure you wont be dissapointed!

You do not need a .40 s&w barrel to fire the .40 out of the 10mm. Plenty of videos on youtube confirming this. Also, there are conversion barrels from 10mm to .45acp that do not require a slide swap.

Question, If I have a Glock 20, and want to be able to convert to 460 Rowland, is it necessary to get a slide from a Glock 21? Can I not just use my Glock 20 slide? If not, why is that? Thanks fro any info.

+John Norris the 460 is built on a 45 acp platform the hole at the end of the 20 slide is to small for the barrel to go through.

I just spoke to Lone Wolf Distributing. Apparently they do not offer these barrels any longer for the 20. Well other than a 40S&W barrel that can be swapped. They told me they are working on some new ones though. Seeing how people have said any barrel you can put in a Glock 21 you can put in a 20. You may also be able to use a 45 ACP barrel. If I understood correctly. With that being said. It appears that the information in this video may be a little outdated. Unless of course you can still get these barrels from places other than the Lone Wolf website. Please correct me if anything I have said is incorrect. I've just started researching the Glock 20 since I am seriously considering purchasing one.

I didn't do any, but they all worked fine except for the 9mm it worked just ok. It might be a mute point now because Lone Wolf makes very few conversion barrels anymore.

40 super is a necked down 45 win mag. i wonder if you can take the mech tech 10mm, ream it to a 40 super, take the g20 and stick the 21 mag in with 40 super rounds loaded. make a 40 super carbine.

You left out one conversion. Maybe it wasn't available at the time of the video. But howabout The Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kit? They do make one for the G20/21.

I seem to be unable to get any of these, Super sad, Probably 2 grand worth of barrels on the table in this video. Pretty crazy to think its actually possible to fire .38 super out of a glock.

+Jerald K It is a Pyramid Trigger from the Glock Store. No issues yet, The 9mm has a few magazine issues but it's only for plinking.

No way I would crimp a perfectly good magazine and possibly have it fail to feed. Big Thumbs Down on this conversion ! Lone Wolf should supply a magazine too or forget about it.

You shouldnt use a caliber that a particular platform wasnt designed for. Slide weights, actions, magazines, spring rates, etc. are optimized for a particular caliber from the factory. Sig recieved a bad rap for a while because their P22* series in .40 S&W were having issues, because it was a 9mm platform that wasnt fully adapted to shooting .40 S&W. Thats why you buy a platform specifically designed for a particular cartridge. 357sig & .40 S&W are completely interchangeable though because Sig designed the cartridge to fit the .40 S&W platform perfectly.

It's fucking sheet metal dummy, it's reversible, the metal had to be manipulated to create the dam gun in the first place, I agree for people like you that think you ruin the steel linker by bending it tighter I would just shoot what someone else made for you. . .

Where did you complete your metallurgy degree? I am a JOURNEYMAN Tool and die maker that KNOWS if you bend and re bend metal ,it makes the metal weaker every time you do it. Besides the fact that the feedlips will never be the same ,unless you have the dies to bring it back to the factory original dimensions.
