Glock 20 Gen 5 MOS: This is Sarge here at C4 Defense, today I'm going to show you my new Glock 20 Gen 5 MOS 10mm pistol, complete with Trijicon RMR and Streamlight TLR1 HL. I was lucky enough to shoot this new design out at SHOT Show in Las Vegas last month, and I've been trying hard to find one ever since. Great video, I couldn't agree more about the finger grooves. One thing I have noticed is the aftermarket for the Glock 20 isn't there like it is for the other calibers. High rise sights weren't a problem but finding an aftermarket trigger like Agency or others is proving to be a challenge.

Fun fact, the Holosun SCS mounts without a plate. means you can get the sight as low as possible

Go to the Glock store and replace the plastic parts including the tungsten guide rod. Then add a Hogue Handall grip sleeve. Install a trigger to your preference and you will never want another 10mm,

first off tungsten is brittle and prone to cracking or even shattering with serious use. also note that it wont give and flex the way an oem guide rod is designed to. im not sure the performance boost, if any, is enough to justify such a purchase. especially considering it may actually be more susceptible to breaking. i personally bought a johnny glocks striker upgrade (which is just a smoother, reliable striker), some ameriglo gl 506 blacked out supressor height sights, and a 6 inch kkm threaded barrel. get THIS setup, or something close to it, and you really wont ever want or need much else

I’d trust Glock plastic 10/10 times over any garbage that Glockstore makes. On a fun gun, go crazy and mess with whatever. With a carry/woods defense gun, stick with Glock parts

Both are pretty similar guns. I would say it's just personal preference but unfortunately FN has a price ego. They charge nearly twice the price for something that is on the same level as your other polymer striker guns. That alone makes FN a no for me.

The only missed opportunity for Glock here was the mag release. They need to include a metal mag release and steel mags for 10mm. Have seen fullpowered pissing hot loads blow the oem plastic mags out the bottom of the guns. Hell, if the aftermarket would swoop in I'd buy to upgrade for reliability

​@@Glockhead1 happened to me. I looked it up if it was common, found other people it happened to. If you are using full power loads, and you have a plastic mag release and oem plastic covered mags, the wear accelerates on the plastic until enough plastic has folded over to allow the mag to drop when firing. Takes awhile, but my point is that if you are using it for bear defense, check your mags and mag release for minimal wear before trusting it
