I added the extra capacity magazine and it adds aditional pinky space and increases the feel. My go to CCW.

I bought my G43 on a whim. It was advertised as USED LIKE NEW for $300. It's a FDE version. I've since added a Pearce +1 mag extension, an ETS 9rd mags w/grip sleeve, and a WARRIORLAND TACTICAL OWB paddle holster. It's replacing my Walther PPQ M2 as my primary EDC...at least until I can wring out my new CZ P10S. 😊

I just started back carrying my G43. I added Shield Arms Z9 magazine with give you 3 extra rounds, and is the same length of the OE Glock magazine!

The bad thing about the G43 is the heavy trigger. The good thing about the G43 is the heavy trigger. Why? The heaviness of the trigger insures that you won't fire this weapon unless you actually intend to. If you convert it to a "hair trigger" you're asking for trouble. That hair trigger is likely to get you in trouble in court, not to mention voiding the warranty.

The Glocks 42 and the 43 are First Run Platforms released under the generation 4, but they were built under the Generation 5 pre-offered Tech line. Except for the G42’s barrel (only) it is along with the G43 as well as the later single stacks all built under Generation 5. There is no accustomed Gen 4, 5 markings attached to their respective frames. These are all first run models or platforms. The first Gen 5 platform was the G19X used for the military trials. Not every Glock platform has been upgraded under the Gen 5 release.

WITH THE FLUSH FITTING MAG HOW IS THE SHOOTABILITY VS USING MAG WITH PINKY EXTENSION

Good question. That might depend on your hand size and personal needs. Personally, I know I shoot better with an extended grip and talked about that in an earlier video on the Kimber Micro 9 and I even showed examples of accuracy kzbin.info/www/bejne/ipOppayZqMdqd5o (see about 6:00). Of course, that's because I have fairly large hands with long fingers. But for comfortable everyday carry, I usually will choose either the flush or +1 magazine in these small firearms. Nice review. That Kimber looks like it has some kick to it. I bought a G43X MOS last year and have just over 500 rds through it. I like everything about it except that it gives me an awful trigger finger, so it won't be my EDC.
