GLOCK 43 UPGRADES

Nice upgrades...I bought one for my daughter and I have installed the TruGlo PRO's, Taran Tactical plus 2 mag plates, OverWatch Precision TAC Flatfaced trigger, HOGUE Grip and had some laser work done to the barrel block. She is doing great transitioning to the G43 from the G19.

Man... the 43. Since it's winter I haven't carried my 43 in a good bit. Mainly been carrying the 1911 lately. But when it warms back up that 43 will come back strong!

Just got a Glock 43 for Father’s Day. Loving it. Big upgrade from my bulky PX4. Can somebody recommend a good IWB holster for it?

the pre travel in the glock trigger is to disengage the drop safety

Yes it can be but on some glock triggers like this particular agency trigger there is no take up..I do like this trigger setup alot!

Used a Pearse +1 it's identical to the extension that's on the factory mag. Why Glock didn't do it idk.

I agree...Glock should have included a factory plus 1 with the glock 43.

My 43 has the innovative gunfighter solutions enhanced duty trigger (It just feels great on the finger, best ive found.), taran tact +1 and +3 mag extenders. Next up in the same light as yours, and Ameriglow i-8 night sights. It's a nice little gun. When I want a tiny 9mm, I carry this or my Walther Gen 1 PPS. Honestly, I DO prefer the Walther a bit more, even though it's bone stock.

Cool setup man, I just got a 43 and have plus 1 and plus 2 Taran Tactical, plan to get stippling done and some slide work, night sights and trigger. Is that longer barrel just for looks? I'm thinking maybe a Black List barrel at some point.

I have carried a Glock 30 for 12 years and love it and do carry a xds 45 some to but got my 43 a month ago put nite fision sights on which are awesome added a taran Tactical +1 i like to keep it short gonna add a flat trigger of some kind but i love it it’s all Glock in design and reliability but it’s a shooter amazing how accurate these lil guns are and fun to shoot where some lil 9mm pistols are not this 43 I swear I can shoot as good as my old 19 so great all around and so comfortable to carry nice upgrades on yours I’m gettin a few things at a time as much as I enjoy this gun I’ll be carrying a lot

Peace Keeper EDC not necessarily. He could simply get a manufacturer licence, to modify firearms at which point he can legally receive UPS/FEDEX firearms shipments and send them back to the person's front door via the same... overnighted of course. Since he's not planning on selling firearms an FFL would be way more headache and paperwork than a manufacturer license, but yes you can ship a firearm to a non FFL entity

Technically its not an FFL but you do need a license to receive firearms and a stripped lower is considered a firearm..Now a polymer 80 can be shipped directly to you just not a factory frame.

I have a Kahr that is 7+1, it also has a TLR6. I have done several upgrades to it. I carried it for a couple years but anymore I carry my M&P9 compact with a hyve +3. 15+1 and a 17 round mag as a spare just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. After the new year I plan on getting the new M2.0 compact and I’m sure it will take the place of my current M&P compact.

GlockGuy226 man I'll be honest. Fit n finish is awesome and it shoots great. If they would get rid of that stupid grip safety and shave off 6 oz or so it would be alot better. Re-release the XDS as a 2.0 or something lol.

You do have to change the sights right out of the box but the glock has made improvements with the gen 5s

mnpyton I see your point. “Never shoot a large caliber man with a small caliber bullet.” Right? Yea sure. To a certain extent. But with the new self defense rounds for the 9mm. It’s just as effective. Besides. After I put a couple holes in you, whether 9mm or .22, you WILL stop advancing. Which comes back to training, it’s all about the speed of your draw, to your present, and getting that good shot placement. But hey man. It’s your opinion and glad you share it. Just don’t rag on people for what they own or chose to carry.

I’ve seen the upgrades fail so many times on the range I don’t even touch it. Put mag extension to get full grip and spend your money on training.
