@ it’s an amazing addition. They confirmed the 43x version which is coming out soon. The 48 is will follow after. I was planning on getting mine ported but I think I will wait for the ramjet.

@ have you considered using the PSA micro dagger slide that’s ported? I think it’s the X1 maybe? It looks pretty cool, I’ve considered getting one to play around with.

@ I actually haven’t thought about that. That actually sounds like a great option. I’ve also heard good things about the gen 2 micro dagger mags working well and better than the shield arms mags on the 48 as well

@ I have been using the shield S15 gen 3 magazines with no issues so far. I just picked up 3 of the micro dagger magazines last week, I haven’t had a chance to use them yet though.

Definitely need a set of the grips for my g48mos .i would like an update in the future if possible to see how your finish on the slide holds up mine was bad after a few weeks now 10 months of edc it's rough

@@soullessone_edc6226 I highly recommend combat textiles! That’s interesting, I’ll have to keep an eye out on that. My G45 has the same nDLC finish on the slide and it’s been holding up pretty well so far, that’s my primary EDC gun.

I have a set on my G48 also and like them alot. It would make installation easier to remove the magwell and the slide release so you don't have work around it.

I love them! they extended over the magwell, so I’ll probably end up trimming the excess away.

Currently in the market for a new gun am considering the Glock 48... How is the slim frame grip? Do you prefer it to the standard frame? Also, the combat grip looks great!
@zackdarden6118
@zackdarden6118 12 күн бұрын
@@LiamsComment I have medium to large sized hands, I think the Glock 48 is a perfect balance between being compact and comfortable for EDC, yet large enough that it feels comfortable when youre shooting at the range. I definitely prefer the larger grip on the full size guns, but they’re not as comfortable if you’re carrying it everyday.
@Osprey1994
@Osprey1994 11 күн бұрын
If you're big enough, the G19 is nicer to shoot, and the G45 is even better.

@ my CCW is a G45 I’m 5’8” 150lbs. I prefer to carry it, but having the 48 is nice if I want to go lightweight. I recommend new shooters get a larger frame gun as their first, because the shooting experience is a lot more pleasant than the compact guns.

Have had a these grips on my pistols before. Unfortunately no matter how good of a job you do cleaning and prepping the pistol they peel after a range visit or two. I had high hopes. They look and feel good. But don’t seem to last.

@zackdarden6118 12 күн бұрын
@@michaelmcmahan2101 luckily I’ve had a good experience with them not peeling off. I’ve had mine on my Glock 45 for about 7 months now, multiple range trips, 1000+ rounds, and I carry it everyday. It’s still holding up fine.

I just didn’t enjoy shooting it. It was uncomfortable, I didn’t like the grip angle, and every time i took it to the range I just felt like I could not control it. It was extremely snappy, I felt like every few shots I had to re adjust my grip. I really wanted to like the gun, the fit and finish was really nice, and it had some nice features, but just not for me.
