Complete opposite for me, that feels like a brick in my hand. Too thick, too short, too snappy. 365 is superior in ergos and function, with a much nicer trigger and sights

It makes sense if want ultra concealed, mags match, can actually put 500+rds in 2day,comfy, it only seems chunky, optical illusion, handle recoil & more to grab n manipulate n stress

I like pocket guns when they actually completely fit in a front pocket of jeans or shorts. A couple of the small 9mm"s do but many don't, so the little .380's work great. If it doesn't fit and it's IWB anyways, then it's a full-sized 1911 .45 acp or G19 or G20 or 686 4" I just don't find concealing a full-sized pistol any different than a smaller one once it moves out of the front pocket.

Glock 26 is my EDC in the hotter months. With the 12 round oem mag it’s very comfortable to shoot, not snappy, and the difference in width against the 43 (only about .2 in) is not even noticeable to me in any concealed position.

I bought a older blue label Glock 26 9x19mm gen 5 in 2020. I got a Magpul 12rd mag. It's worked well but some say P mags will fail, wear down over time. I added a few parts, sights to my 26 gen 5. I tote a extra Glock 17rd or 19/15rd type mag as a spare.

Love the 43x. I've heard the shield mags can be unreliable so I stick with the OEM mags and run 10+1 and an extra mag. Hard to imagine I'll need more than that.

I own 5 different Sig 365 models, and I love them, just bought the x macro tac ops, but I usually carry a Glock 43 with a plus 2 mag, I bought my first Glock in the late 80’s and have never had a reason to go away from Glock! If I’m traveling I’ll put my G19 under the seat with a couple spare mags, sometimes I’ll throw a 33 round mag in there! Glocks are just dependable!

I know it was not a good gun, but I think Kel-Tec still deserves the credit for creating the micro compact double stack category. The P11 came out in 1995.

I pretty much only pocket carry. I have a 42 for work since I move around a light and need that shit to just disappear in my pocket. And I swap between a 26 and 27 for my edc, though it changes for winter. With the extra clothing I typically carry a 23

I carried a G26 for a good number of years. Transitioned to a S&W J-frame because the Glock was to bulky to pocket carry for me. When I wanted to go back to a 9mm I chose the Sig P938. Haven’t looked back

I replaced all my high capacity factory GLOCK magazine springs with WOLFF springs, because if you keep the factory GLOCK magazine springs loaded for more than 8 months it will cause malfunctions.

Regarding the TLR-6, while I hear Streamlight is coming out with "new and improved" the basic combo is 100 lumens and red laser. I happened upon the Nightstick version. 150 lumens and a green laser. Regarding the laser...no comparison. Green wins every time. Had them first on the 43, then 43X and now 48. They hold up well.

I prefer to carry my various 9mms like 43x or 365 XL but sometimes when circumstances demand, I carry a 365-380. I find it is the most pleasant .380 to shoot since its 9mm size. I use good self defense ammo and I figure shot placement is most important and I feel very confident with it for most situations.

I know it’s a big larger but my xmacro is the best carry option in my opinion. To each there own though. Had a Mossberg MC1 SC (first gen) for years but only held 7 rounds and it was cool and I liked it but rather would have 17 rnds but still very concealable. Haven’t had a Glock yet , maybe the 19x or 43x with shield mags I’d go for.

I carry a 43X with Shield mags. Never had a mag problem and have run over 2,000 rounds through them. Slim with enough grip to have great control. All you need in a defensive carry gun. Keep it at my beside for home defense also because I shoot it more than my other guns. I'm pretty good with my Rival but I just feel more comfortable with my 43x mos. Yes I do have a Holoson dot on it. I see pistols with more features but for a defensive weapon a box stock Glock 43X is fine as is. I also don't have issue with stock Glock sights but I may put Ameriglos on at some point. I know my Glock goes bang when needed. Nuff said !

Almost bought a 43x. I only use factory mags. Went with Hellcat Pro 15+1 . 407k on top. It's not bad.

With the 43x the MOS used, you stated they have Holosun optics. The question I have is how the optic was attached. Was the slide adapted and the lugs machined or was there an adapter plate used? Can you comment or elaborate on what you feel would work better. Keep up the great content! Thanks.

26 is still Glocks best carry gun. The shorter grip, adequate capacity, and most importantly shoot-ability make it the superior weapon. It disappears in the waistband but it will drop in a pocket in a pinch to go into that weird gas station on your lunch break.

The 43x is a good choice. I got experience with the g17 mos gen5 and the 43x fits my personal self. Great video. My 43x don't have a mos setup. I would like a light rail though.

Streamlight has the tlr-6 for the slimline glocks. I have one on my glock 48 and it's better than nothing but the buttons are a bit annoying to use compared to a tlr-1 or similar light

For summer, used to carry a G42. With all the riots and whacko shooters with rifles and SUV's used as weapons, I upgraded to a G33 and SIG P229 in 357 Sig. I think 9mm sucks, especially in a compact pistol. I started practicing at 30+ yards, and have concluded factory 9mm sucks really hard. If you buy the hyperammo, really expensive stuff that is trying to mimic 357 Sig, you've lost any of the pros for 9mm. None of the Glocks are exactly a pocket pistol, unless you're wearing a coat like Paul Harrell's.

Very good video. Thanks for the input and recommendation. My ccw is different from my duty and I am finding it hard to maintain both sets of skills as they are too different. They are both different from size (full and compact) as well as manufacturer. I'm proficient in both just feels like two different languages and training gets expensive.

Glock gets a bad rap for their unwillingness to listen to the market and innovate. While I agree with that to a small degree, they showed a nod to innovation in the move to the slimmer, ultra concealable models you discuss here. Still room for innovative improvements, but they aren’t ENTIRELY tone deaf to what the market is looking for.

I have to disagree with Dorr, Sig is the one who has really changed the game in the micro 9s. Glock is still stuck in the past (ie 10 rounds in the 43x to 12 or 13 rounds in the 365x and hellcat). Not saying glock is bad, but definitely need to look at 3rd party magazines (PSA micro Dagger mag and sheld arms) to make the 43x competitive.
