There’s a lot of simple fixes for the audio. You can buy a $30 lavaliere (lapel) mic that plugs into an iPhone or just get a decent camera that has a larger directional mic built in. I hope they fix it next video.

I just plink with my JG competition trigger. I found the JG combat trigger too hard but it was perfectly smooth and predictable. I like I can trust either and it's all oem parts. I did beat the gun against a table to ensure it wouldn't bypass the safety and it always passed.

So whats the benefit of adding both the vex shoe and the striker with the combat kit? Ive always hated my G17.3 trigger and really want to upgrade it but i want to make sure i make the right selection. Ive fallen back in love with shooting again but i also like my weapons to be combat ready at all times which is why im interested in the combat kit

Any answer yet ?? I have the same thoughts

I believe the striker makes things smoother and slightly lighter trigger pull like 5 oz or something like that. I believe the shoe is mostly just feel. I have never tried one of his triggers, but since he hasn't answered I figured I would give it a go

I pop for the metal shoe and striker as well. Like you said. I want the full experience and to make sure everything works together. My XR920P is one of my EDC pistols. Its gotta BE THERE and go.... BANG and those FAST follow-up shots if i need them. 💪🇺🇸💪

YES! The older guys would show up to USPSA or steel challenge matches with 1911s or Paras with bullseye trigger jobs -- a very light break, with a weak reset. If you compromise the break a bit for a stronger reset, you can actually shoot faster.
@8551-w5v9 ай бұрын
Great video Sir but I'm confused. I run a Glock 45 with a Timney Competition Trigger as my EDC. I'm a former Texas Peace Officer and Retired Marine Raider. I've been in a few gunfights. Aren't real world defensive situations a competition? I use my EDC in competition as well. My OH SHIT moments were with 1911s and Double/single actions long before striker fired tools were thought of. Not real long before but definitely before. I view gunfights as a competition and use my trigger the same in both. I'm in no way a professional shooter like the clients you describe but I've shot plenty of both paper and biological targets. Please do another video explaining your philosophy of the Competition vs. Combat Triggers. Maybe I'm too dense or just a knuckle dragger. Thank you Sir.

I kind of wanna do the full JG trigger instead of the Timney/VEX shoe combo. The reset feels like garbage on the Timney I wish it had a stronger trigger return spring. Keep getting light strikes now too idk how when there is a 6lbs striker spring that is over stock power and it seems to be protruding enough and sliding with no resistance.

Hey Johnny! I know g flex triggers are not your product but I was hoping you could help me out! I put a Gen 4 g flex in a Gen 4 Glock 21 45 acp! Technically they didn't make them for the G21 so I improvised! I swapped out the ejector on the g flex with my G21 ejector and it fits perfect but won't reset! I tried bending the connector up and then down but it won't fully reset! The g flex has 2 grooves in it's trigger bar and the G21 trigger bar has only one! Everything else is a perfect match!
