Bare hands are not buffed by the perks for fist weapons. I have done fist builds and they are a lot of fun, but I have definitely been punching something early game after placing down my bike only to realize after about 25 swings that I never switched back to my knuckles. That is why you are running out of stamina so fast too.

The "audio glitch" is actually a feature, try shooting that much without at least temporary hearing damage when not using ear pro, lol.

Dead zeds don't burn in this game, so one-shotting is probably canceling out the burn effect from the shotgun ammo. Fun series!

Since you were kind of alluding to the end of this series coming up, I'd love to see you do a no-life or max level playthrough. Start from zero, build a megabase, get to max level, no rules. I know it could get kinda slow but you could always build satellite bases in other areas or make different horde fight setups, check out more of the crazy modded POI's, etc etc. You do some awesome stuff with converting existing POIs into horde bases, but I'd be interested to see what you would do with a megabase (or at least large-ish) from scratch.

That XM would have been amazing to shoot down at the horde in such a confined base. The top tier guns for izzy's mod are kinda interesting, since you need a Legendary part to craft the repair kit for them- so its a way to balance out how strong they are compared to vanilla guns.

Bare fists is bad, yeah, but you should do a brawler build! It's broken as hell when you get all of the fist fight books and some decent steel knuckles and a beer in you. You can go fisticuffs with a horde.

A new challenge you can do once you complete this one is army base. Essentially, you take over an existing army base POI and use it as your home and hoard base.

Best thing in the IZZY pack is the shotguns. You feel, and are, a god. I don't like that the 1.0 Izzy pack took out the sniper rifles. A21 was the best Izzy pack ever. I loved the sniper rifles. They were loot or trader only, and I always looked to get one. I still think A21 was the best 7 Days version. I really don't like how they did map generation in 1.0. I don't like that traders are only in one biome. It feels like I'm being forced to play a certain way, and I like freedom.

I was thinking about this whole not taking money with you and i got the idea for a way to make the loot and money important even after the horde night. The idea is that you are only allowed to buy the vehicles from traders. So you carry the money to the next biom, set it up in the designated storage outside the trader of the week compound and you can only use this money to purchase a new vehicle from this one trader. No going to other traders to do a quick purchase. This way the money is valuable between bioms and it adds more possibilities of different vehicles

My group and I have been playing Rebirth for the past month, and we are always ammo-starved. You simply don't get the sheer amount of ammo you get in vanilla-or in most other mods, either. Rebirth definitely wouldn't work for this type of play-through, unless you also gave yourself one of the classes at max. It would be better for a full play-through.

@@devonowens3652 I have a solo game going at the same time my group is playing together. I'm honestly enjoying the solo play-through more, as it's more of a challenge, though I have to admit the ramp-up into the end game is pretty difficult. It gets to the point where it is very challenging to do tier 5 or 6 POI, especially the custom-built ones that come in if you do a random map. I really like the weapons progressions (Glock might not, as you actually have to build the weapons...there are very few weapons finds, and they are all low tier). Pets and followers are cool, but I really like the vehicle system. You can, in theory, get a vehicle on day 1 if you find the right things, and I've not crafted a vehicle in any of my playthroughs...just find a repairable vehicle and scavenge the parts. The classes are pretty cool, but it's definitely combat-oriented...some of my group who really like support are struggling in the playthrough, as they are used to farming, mining, or cooking, and in this you need to kill zombies with your class weapons to really progress. I doubt Glock will ever do it, but it would be fun to see how he handles this mod.

Had an idea for a similar series while watching this. Benjamin Button series where you start off maxed on stats but everyday you reset skill points and reduce the number of skill points you reassign by maybe 2-3 points. Relocate every week after hoard night. Maybe give yourself a gyro to start and every week you down grade to the next lowest vehicle. Keep only tool belt after hoard night. Call it a victory if you can survive the last week on foot with little to no skill points active.
