This is why I have not bought the older version because I knew sooner or later something like this was going to come out. I have the Glock 48 MOS and I cannot wait to see that one come out and get the holster for it too.

I have a Glock 27 with a TRL6 for my every day carry. It works just fine, how much brighter is this new light. I am tempted to get one of these new light/laser combos. The rechargeable batteries is a positive feature too.

It is needed but the TLR6 HL is not available for the g26/27 or other firearm models other than the g43

@PistolPeterson859 it looks the same, but the housing lens bevel on the HL is wider and the old is smaller, swapping the light won't work unless you mod the old housing by trimming the bevel.

Do you have it on there now? If so, a question I have, is does it hold the setting you have it on? Like if I switch to just laser, or just light, does it hold that setting to where if I activate, it turns whatever I have set up on?

The dimensions are just a bit different so it may not or may only cause your weapon to sit a smidge higher in the holster.

Why is it that I can’t find near as many upgrades for the G26 that I can for the other models, such as the G43 & 43x. I have the g26 gen 5, and I and others in the family really love the feel of this weapon because we have bigger hands. I want this tlr6 for my gun and am told they don’t have one for it. Lol. We’ve all been there from time to time. How about all of us that bought the original 43X and then the MOS came out with a rail. None of us knew they would add a rail. That was a real kick in the nads for all of us that sent off the slide to get it cut to make it obsolete. Nice trick Glock.
