Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion - Ep 3 - Voidwarden

This is the third episode in the Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion board game painting series - the Voidwarden. She's one of the characters that you can play as in this adventure game from Cephalofair Games.
The Plastic Canvas is a miniature painting channel focused at beginner painters, or anyone that likes watching minis being painted, unedited, from start to finish. I'm using this to document my progression in the hobby and I hope that with what I share about what I'm learning, I can help you make some good early steps in your time in the hobby too.

How do you think these would look with speed paint? Its hard to tell what a lot of these details are so I don't know where I would even start.

Yeah I don't think this would be a mini to use speed paint or contrast paint on. Too many small details that you just wouldn't be able to pick out. Unless you just laid down the basic colours with speed paint and then went back with normal acrylics to pick out those smaller details. Or would that look odd? I'm not sure how that would look because I don't have any speed or contrast paints.

you said that this is the last character in Jaws of the Lion, but I don't see the demolitionist video, I painted all 3 following your videos, These are my first minis ever so I wanted to finish all using your videos, can you tell me where I can find the demolitionist video?

Hey Abner. Sorry but I never made a Demolitionist video. My wife swapped to the Demolitionist part way through our campaign so I needed to get it painted quickly. Because of that I didn't have time to film it and turn it into a video. There's plenty of pics online though (including on my Instagram) that you can use as a guide so hopefully those are helpful! I'm sorry I don't have a video to help you!

No sorry. I quickly painted him a while back off camera because my wife decided to swap to that character. So there wasn't time to do a video for it.
