Gloomhaven Retirement Made SIMPLE With This Checklist

Wow just Retired Cargheart at level 7 today and I'm proceeding with the retirement phase. Didn't think it would be so emotional lol. Putting his cards back, but it hit when I had to take him and put him in his box. Almost like I was putting him in his coffin as a last goodbye. He was painted, so there was an emotional attachement :) Thx for the checklist, very helpful.

Great tool, will definitely prevent us from forgetting something next time someone's character retires. About your question, a nice checklist to have would be a step-by-step monster focus one.

I believe your final donation to the Sanctuary of the Great Oak carries over to the next scenario, so you get two bless cards with your new character. The rule is about *players* not characters :-) "Once per visit to Gloomhaven, each player can donate 10 gold to the Sanctuary of the Great Oak, a temple and hospital in the city. Doing so allows the donating player to add two BLESS attack modifier cards to their attack modifier deck for the next scenario."

I’m not as familiar with digital but I know there are some differences- just not sure what exactly.
