So pleased to come across Gloria's tape, I stayed sober because of this woman's message at the Big Book Group in Bellflower. Gloria & Bob's message are so powerful for an alcoholic like "me"....God placed her in my life.xoxo
Thank you Gloria! Talk about hearing someone else telling your story! God bless you!!!

I lost hope and also in sobriety did too. I been six years sober but felt that nothing got better in life. I receive social security disability and have been struggling. Staying at a hotel in Newington Connecticut and even in sobriety I lost my apartment and belongings because I been evicted. I haven't been very spiritual because I need help with my situation and stuck in depression and anxiety. It controls my life. I used to be afraid of people but through speaking at meetings sharing my story helped me get through with the anxiety and depression.

Wow, what a great message. You took us from the beginning of your alcoholism and how many times you hit bottom. I'm so happy your son and daughter came back, and you learned how to be a mother to them. Then when they were having their own difficulties with this terrible disease, they knew who to come to fir help. Thank you 😢😅
