55 days sober. It’s not easy but day by day and working the program has made me reach 55 days with a breeze. I am going after it one day at a time. God bless all of you battling addiction. Work the program !

I've been without a drink for many a 24hrs, I've learned a lot in the program and had great talks with people that I'd never trade but this talk (that I've heard before) has helped me to see and think about my ego and what it really means to realize something. I can't believe my mind is still blown from time to time in all this, sobriety is progressive as well. God bless the chips you hold

I am still struggling with this beast. I have listened to this Don M lecture 25/ plus times. it really helps. My week time is around 2:30 in the afternoon, when happy hour opens across the street. I have cut it back by 90%, and my weight loss of 20 pounds is a benefit. But I still drink. I must stop. I will. must keep going to meetings. I am sick of this. I am going to take 6 months off of work, and just focus on getting 100% clean. It is not easy.

Keep asking your higher power to remove the obsession and mean it. Then get a service position greeting or making coffee. It works. It really does. Prayers for you. Many miracles to be revealed on the other side

Don, I got 12 min in and something spoke to me..told me to share with a gentleman I've known and loved many years, who still suffers. When I looked at the time it happened to be 12:18...his birthday. For the very first time, I find the idea of alcohol beyond repulsive. It literally makes me sick when I think about it and I am only 2 days into sobriety after falling off the wagon. I don't believe I will ever drink again. I'm done letting it control me and done being self destructive.

Feelings are made to be hurt not always in a bad emotional situation or broken 💔humble thy self love thy self for who we are and what our higher power has blessed us with and that is with a better sober clean life of happiness I'll let my higher power have the steering wheel and I'll adjust the radio stations and enjoy the travel with dignity and good pride once again.

Because of the Creator's grace through AA, I am 21 years stone dry. Yesterday, I saw red wine on sale in the supermarket and got hit with a craving. THAT was real. Got to an AA meeting and the craving vanished.
