@@laurastanton7812 What is your source for the "massive amounts of plastic surgery"? Except for the normal aging process, Swanson's face did not change that much from 1930 to 1950 to 1970. I think she took very good care of her skin and had healthy habits which included her diet. Actresses from her era who did undergo lots of plastic surgery were barely recognizable (see Merle Oberon).

I just had the chance to see this, and wow; my goodness! Absolutely wonderful interview! I was interested to see another with Gloria, and she was great as ever, though truly one of the most wonderful interviews I've ever seen due to the wonderful interviewer! I'd never heard of the man, but what a kind, gentle, and intelligent soul himself! Will be looking out for more! Highly doubt the Barbara Walters interview will come anywhere close to this! I wish Swanson on Swanson were an audiobook. I will have to record it myself if I don't see it done by anyone else!
