Glorio and Dr. Arinsu probably have a connection together. My theory is that Glorio is being manipulated by Arinsu to do her bidding (either by having someone close hostage or by some sort of mind-control magic being involved). Doing so disguised as being friends with Goku and the rest. I have seen Glorio switch into a hightened state with eyes turned deadly against that flying demon above the dark canyon and when he made quick work of that with his raw fighting power, he "deflated" back to his sluggish almoast asleep looks Kinda like Z Broly was introduced with the same expression. That felt more of like a slip causing the unleashing of his hidden strength. He probably could have shot that flying thing down if he wanted. Arinsu probably sees potential in Glorio as her personal bodyguard once she manages to solve the problem that is Gomah. And might be even more than just that! Anyways I hope Daima will bring many jawdropping conclusions to the table and the MOST important: awesome battles!

Yeah, jokes that are plays on words in Japanese are hard to carry over into English. In one piece there were a few jokes which only work in Japanese and had to be completely removed from the English dub because the joke did not make sense because the word being used had multiple meanings in Japanese. On a side note, Supreme Kai mentions Earth being in universe 7 but Goku does not react to this at all.

Gohan was chosen as a reference to Grandpa Gohan, Trunks follows the underwear pun theme and this applies to Bra as well (there's even a scene where Vegeta suggests Saiyan names and they're based on vegetables, but they're rejected), with Goten being based on Goku, but meant to be on a larger scale. Basically, the pun names of these characters represent their direct roots, similar to how other races/species/groups have their own themes.
