Can't get enough of watching Dane and Bren running great water! The other blokes too, though I don't know the names of any of them. I hope the missing man will be able to paddle next season. Also loved seeing Dane's lovely fiancé. Was kind of wondering if the broken glass on the passenger side of Dane's truck might have been a .410 shotgun pattern because all of them seemed to be about the same size. Either way, somebody's a mega-arse. Sorry to see that happening, and glad that they didn't get in or do any more damage than that. Great edit to end the season with! Stay stoked for next season, and send us video through the winter of all the other amazing places you go!

What river is this? I've noticed you'll name the section or canyon but you won't tell us what river in the description sometimes. Love the gnarly videos, thanks!

Been watching more and more of Dane's videos recently and am stumped by how they measure the water levels. As someone from the UK, I go by the level measurements in meters, how does that correspond to the measurements attached to these videos such as 3.6K on this video? Eager to learn

In the US levels are usually measured in cubic feet per second (CFS), which is the volume of water passing any given point per second

I believe in the US river volume is more common than height like we measure in the UK. So its 3.6k cfs or cubic feet per second.

3.6k Cfs would be just over 100 cumecs

Several of the best, but usually smaller, rivers have river height gauges, such as the White Salmon and the Little White in the Columbia River. Gorge. Hell, the Green is measured by inches!

Paddling in Canada all our gov't river flow data is in CMS as well. Having paddled lots in the USA we do this simple conversion. 1 CMS = 35 CFS. So 100 CMS = 3500 CFS = 3.5K CFS 3600 CFS/35 = 102.86 CMS water level for the run.

Wonder with you all that are so good at this that when you do get caught a little in a hole, like Bren did for a second there, is it a oh shit moment or a yipee moment? Always a good day on the river. Totally sucks about the window but glad they didn't get in. Nice to see Chloe for a second. What is the puppies name?

Does anyone know if these boys are wearing paddle jackets here or full on dry tops?

Sad to say it ... yet Cali and car fuckery are synonymous. Having traveled and paddled there for 30 years, it's gotten worse. Way worse. It used be just down in the lowlands, like the Kern. Now they've moved up into the highlands. Breaks my heart. Great paddling. Sick lines

I cant believe they tried to break in and failed. I want your windows. I get broken into religiously recreating. Hey get your girl a silicone ring. Then you can wear it all the time, no stress.
