What I both admire and respect about Raymond is his evolution as a martial artist. Starting from his early days as point contact karate, going towards full contact, then professional TKD , and now kickboxing it's impressive how he both improves himself and challenges himself.
@skateboardadik3 жыл бұрын
And now he also competes in MMA. This man is truly amazing.
@lorddabs13506 жыл бұрын
hell yea. that was amaxing. Im glad this guy exists to prove that TKD/Karate styles are very effective. as a black belt in TKD i like to see fights like this.

Lol...come to Thailand they smash you guys so easy. 🤣
@international_sensei83203 жыл бұрын
@@augustusmageto2694 tbh your 💯 percent correct. But that’s what needs to happen. I think sport karate guys like Raymond, MVP, wonder boy is it’s own style of kick boxing. Karate has good elements but none ever really trains to deal with leg kicks. So a large amount of karate guys actually going to Thailand and learning how to adapt there style to deal with leg kicks and other techniques could be a great thing for the art and the sport of kickboxing as a whole.
@augustusmageto26943 жыл бұрын
@@international_sensei8320 True... I have briefly trained Karate... The good thing with Karate is the vast knowledge and if adequately put into hard training...it is a very lethal style. However now we have watered down styles for show and fighting games exploits.

Im so glad to see people like him fight in the ring and show the world that Taekwondo kicks and other kicks in martial art can cause serious damage. You dont have to be the baddest man on the planet with just 1 shot knockout power anymore. MMA is getting better and better and we get to experience moments like these! 👌

Ambang was a little stunned but, I think Raymond would have landed the kick even without the earlier punch. By "touching" him to the body, it opened up the head. Like a one-two combo in boxing, it worked with kicks!

in and out karate style point fighting works great in MMA because your fighting wrestlers with allot of power and little technique who want to close the distance. (like Stephen Thompson.) But against dudes who just train kickboxing and are experts in cutting of the ring, it's not the best choice. That's why Joseph and Niecky beat the hell out of vegan gains! Lol

He is running to a MVP vs Lima KO now he is in Bellator. Karate TKD styles don’t work with solid Muay Thai or Jiu-jitsu on the long run as they compete with points mostly and their side guard. His hands combos are horrible btw.

@rubenaerts72847 жыл бұрын
How many point fighters can do what he can? The man is an assasin. I don't care if he lost some point fights against some skinny tall guy that was hopping around on one leg the whole fight, keeping Daniels behind the lead legg. A lot point fighters fight like sissy's, boring. Daniels takes the best out of point fighting and shows he can really fight.
@Sockboss17 жыл бұрын
over half of his fights won were by knockout what do you mean point fighter?
@jamesmiles90487 жыл бұрын
Ruben Aerts that's load shit plenty high quality point fighters like Raymond Daniels he's just most famous one,Michael page is mma fighter now wonderboy Thompson too Conor mcgregor done it to sage northcutt,list goes on I do sport karate these guys very talented yes in knockout fighting some them don't train Muay Thai so get leg kicked to death like Raymond Daniels has done,

Go nzo I don't get people like you who just shit on things because it's not how you like it and if anything having the shorter time would probably make the fight itself alot harder because fighters come out guns blazing from the start
