Grigorian is a phenomenal pressure fighter. Most fighters think they are doing well against him in the beginning by sticking and moving. Landing their jab and some crisp combinations. But meanwhile, he’s chopping your leg down, landing body punches, piercing you with right crosses, and then mixing in some knees to the body. All the while, exhausting and pressure his opponents into desperation. He takes away their movement, their power, and their concentration as they get more and more tired. Then once they’re in deep waters, he just batters them. He's definitely one of the most underrated kickboxers of the modern age.

Marat really opened up when he realized that the opponent had some serious power. I think Elvis gets a little too flat-footed at at times. It opened him up for some serious leg chopping.

Overall I think it was a good display from Gashi but I do feel that Glory haven't been giving him the top level opponents up to this point so it was too soon. It would have been nice to see a rematch against jauncey before a test like this.

Anders Jørgensen exactly! He hasn’t even fought against the likes of: tyjani, sittitchai, jauncey, kopvrilenski or jaraya. He should fight them to get used to the big boy level before he fights against the champ. He did better than i expected tho.

i gave him round 2 personally just because he was so much more active, and round 1 could go either way. not that it would have mattered either way, Grigorian knew from round 3 on he would have basically a human punching bag in front of him

@@innersight3684 Gershon and Petch(panormung) are 65 KG fighters . Marat is 70 KG . Petro is too old for Marat , Marat will beat him in a 5 rounds fight . Kyshenko is a 80 KG fighter now lol . Only Thai who might beat Marat in kickboxing rule are Petchmorakot ( very possible ) , Buakaw ( hard ) , Superbon ( he was tired when he fought Marat as it was in a tournament ) , Yodwicha ( feasible depend on the clinch limitation ) , Jo Nattuwot ( very hard ) , Sorgraw ( very hard ) , Sittichai ( likely ) , Yodkhunpol ( hard but possible ) .

I've never watched Gashi before. He is pretty good but needs to fight smarter, not keep staying in marat leg kicks range or check the leg kicks by raise his foot 6-8 inches that's all he needed to do the least energy with much less damages.if did that from early rounds, would be different result.

Gashi is quite slow, only defending by throwing punches, already from the beginning, how could this fighter have no losses, and 23 wins, means all US is on amateur level? he's athletic, can really throw a punch, great timing, but hardly defends, his lowkicks are very ineffective, and simply misses stamina, maybe he should come train in The Netherlands with our Lumberjack Peter Aerts, would be some improvement for him as a fighter...
