This and Morning Glow is why I decided to study musical theater. God, what talent! I wish they had been able to film the production with Ann Reinking in it. Ah well. It's still, dare I say, glorious!

Fosse knew how to find the gender bender in all of us. Here Vereen is the picture of polymorphous sexuality: fey, butch, elegant and brutal, frightening and tender, camp and deadly serious, one moment all crotch, the next all soul and head...I'm not sure we're likely to see the fusion of two talents this daring and appealing any time soon.

Even with the genius choreography and direction of Bob Fosse, this is still a dull boring show! Personally I hate it! Xx but that's just me. Remember I hate the show not Fosse xx
