I think giving glory to God by handing some fame or honour of man over to HIM is acknowledging that man's achievements are NOTHING without God giving the skills, intelligence and opportunity for the success of man first. It is not "humble bragging" but just acknowledging that fact. We tried a lot to teach our only (God-given) son more of that but he got it the wrong way, now he's even more into religiosity as described here than we ever were before Jesus Christ saved us parents from self-righteousness. But also here, God gave it, God took it, to GOD be the GLORY. 🙏
