*SPOILER ALERT* : Seriously, I can take each and every character on this show, in all their shit and flaws, everyone *except* for Sam. And that probably is because further the show goes they insist in portrait her as a poor little victim and she never really gets to have a decent redemption moment or growth. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that she is bad. The problem is that for most of characters you feel that when they fuck up, there is some sort of retaliation towards it, to make the character (and the audience) see "look, this is wrong, now let's see how it moves from there". Miguel acted like a dick towards Sam and played dirty during the championship, then he lost his girlfriend and got scolded by his Sensei in front of the class. Even when he wasn't there we got reminded that the path he was taking was wrong (from her mom herself noticing something was off with him). Robby kicks Miguel off the rail? Gets arrested, loses his girlfriend and ends up pretty much all alone. Same goes for Daniel, Johnny, Hawk, Tory. EVERY character gets their mistakes pointed to their face, one way or another, except for Sam. Sam let's her friend get bullied just to be among the cool kids? Pass. Disregards Miguel as her bf, and even slightly tries to manipulate him into leaving Cobra Kai just to make things easier for her? All good. Accuses someone of stealing and tries to take their belogings against their will? Let's make her fall and look like a victim and later on let's make Tory push her down so she can look even more victimized. Even when she fucks up real bad after the fight in season 3, they still try to make you have sympathy for her with her PTSD. How can a character grow from their mistakes if they are constantly portraid as a bullied victim only defending themselves? It's just annoying, and her self entiltled hypocrisy of "everybody's got a sob story, it doesn't give you the right to be a bully" only makes me dislike even more.

Why is it always everyone's fault but never Sam's? Tory, Miguel and Robby have a few faults as well but where's the blame for Sam at? 1. Like Roshi said, Sam started the drama between herself and Tory. Now there probably would have still been drama because of Miguel but it probably wouldn't have been as bad. Sam accused Tory of stealing Mama LaRusso's money and then put her hands on her, how do expect Tory or anyone in that situation to react? Then Sam didn't even bother to apologize when she saw her again. She knows it wasn't her because how else were Daniel and Robby going to explain where they found the wallet? Then Sam continued on by making an unnecessary comment. Sam is was being a b*tch to Tory for what? 2. Sam played a part in starting the drama/bringing back the rivalry between her dad and Johnny. She was in the car when the accident happened and what did she do? Instead of being honest with her parents, she kept her mouth shut. That's why she got in trouble later, being grounded and got everything confiscated. Had she been honest, her punishment probably would have been lighter. 3. So Sam is being a hypocrite with who Aisha is friends with. She was literally friends with the very people who bullied someone who was suppose to be her friend. These people were making fun of Aisha, making comments about her weight and even telling her to kill herself. 4. Sam started the drama between Miguel and Robby. Now I can't say how things would have gone between those two had it been for Johnny instead of Sam. But had Sam been honest with Miguel about why she wasn't ready to introduce him to her dad because of his issues with Cobra Kai and not been lying to him or making excuses, things wouldn't have gone down the way that they did at the beach party. I don't even understand why those two would fight over her because what they do see in her? Sam is insisting on being with Robby and he didn't want to do anything because of her parents, especially since they took him under their roof. Then tells MIguel she wasn't on a date with Robby. Does he know that? Isn't he her boyfriend? She's literally playing with both of them.
