To be fair, they kind of were. Most of their fighting was just to break up Sam and Tory's fight and to protect their girlfriends. Then there was some random dialogue thrown in that didn't make a lot of sense with the story presented, which made it seem like they had much more beef than they actually did.

Seriously, Hawk deserved that. Imagine your best friend turning into your bully and pretended you were never friends, even daring to physically assault you even though you're trying to be supporting of him, being there for him basically being their friend... Hawk uses his fists and intimidation to bully Dimitri- Dimitri's only shield and weapon are his intellect and his words (although he is learning Karate)- Dimitri fought back Hawk's physical and emotional abuse with words, he stood up for himself that way, and man he endured a lot of shit before even considering doing that. Hawk 100% deserved that moment of shame. He has become a bully to his best friend, he had it coming.
