This is very interesting, but rather alien to me as an MMA fan. ONE YEAR LATER, after a devastating loss, Badr returned to the ring to face his nemesis, having completely healed and accumulated several wins plus a championship belt in the meantime. In MMA, some stars fight once a year, or take several years off to quibble about pay or fight their current batch of criminal charges. Injuries seem to stall them forever... People sit out for ages to wait for their championship shot... and it's a very active star that fights twice a year. Coming soon at Madison Square Garden we have the top two heavyweight legends meeting, each having not fought in heaven knows how long. One of them has a career completely away from the sport that he seems think is his real job. It's crazy!
