I have to say that when I was in my late teens I thought that people who are too enthusiastic about makeup were vain. That could probably because my mom never wore any, my friends didn't wear any and the those who wore makeup were only seen on TV. But for the past five years, I have come to really indulge in my daily day routine and added something of a night routine this past year. I have made myself a sizable collection of skincare and makeup products and am quite joyful to use those everyday. It's a time of the day that I get to talk to myself and check in with myself Thanks for this channel! It has really changed my game! ♥️♥️♥️

I have echo and palm and they’re lovely! Not near so pigmented as the cloud paint, though... very sheer.

I got the peach shade Valley and Terra which is the Terracotta color. They are beautiful! I like to apply it with a blending brush in layers so it looks really blown out and seamless. Then I build up color on the lid last. Doing it in a few layers creates a natural gradient blend. Like how you would do a smoky eye. I'm getting Palm and Echo next.

You're right. Before I would buy products because the creators said how good it looks on their face/skin, but when I use those one my face, the result was not how I expected or were told. You are now the only KZbin channel I watch to introduce myself with great but underrated brands. I am now using mostly clean products and very cautious what I put on my skin as much as how each ingredients do to our community.

I'd say Haloscope could be a good fit! I never want to look like I have highlighter on either, just a natural glow, so cream highlighters like this are my favourite 👍✨ x

i love natural makeup so i love glossier. i have haloscope and its really nice bc you can layer it for a higher shine. but it definitely gives you a healthy glow and doesn’t look like a heavy highlighter

I’ve been enjoying a lot of Glossier in the past year! My biggest shock of enjoyment was stretch concealer; I have oily skin so I was a bit afraid it would melt off, but it always makes my under eyes look healthy whether I set them with powder or not. I did learn I have to be careful if I use it for spot concealing, because it can sometimes look abnormally dewy on a random spot on my forehead if I don’t set it! My ultimate favorite product is cloud paint in puff. It looks so healthy and feminine! Another lovely video Matilda, thank you for being a welcome distraction 💗

I love your videos Matilda! They are all so relaxing and here's just a little tip: I read that the rose water spray should be used to lock in moisture so I think you should spray it after you put on your priming moisturizer. Love you!

Thank you Celina! Face mists usually evaporate after you apply them which can actually dry out your skin (that process is called transepidermal water loss) so I always like to apply mist before moisturiser! 👍 x

I tend to use Lash Slick kind of like a lash primer that separates the lashes and then I add a more volumizing mascara on top. It's been working pretty well so far! Thank you so much for your videos :).

I have quite the collection going. I have 2 cloud paints, the mascara, boy brow, the perfume (it's intoxicating! My signature scent), 2 generation g lippies and 2 sky washes so far! I used to not be into Glossier at all but since I'm now 32 and the heavier makeup makes me look older instead of younger I've started getting into a more natural makeup style and I'm loving the brand now! I want the glosses, Beam and puff cloud paints and pencil liners next.

Hey Matilda, love your videos! I used the shade Medium which is G9 now. Had a transition from the old formula into the new one and I honestly could not tell the difference! I use the concealer for an overall use (for little scars) and spot conceal with fenty or nars. Good to know that some make up artists are using the same method! Happy sunday 🧡

irl. h a n n a h I have red cheeks too and have found the combination of a tinted moisturizer with a high coverage concealer to work best for me! The TM helps to spread the concealer too! ☺️

i know im *10 months* late but the shade G9 is the closest to medium. i tried shades G10-G8 and i found the other two to not be the right undertone or too light for me. hope this helps :)

I’m a huge lover of their skin tint (G4) and I love their cloud paint in Storm-I use it on my eyes lips and cheeks. The 1 non makeup product I adore is their fragrance. 😩 so sad they discontinued the solid compact, it was divine!

yes yes yes! I've been looking online so much during this quarantined time, and I just bought Undone Beauty's bronzer because of your videos! Time to buy a bunch of Glossier items too 🤩 But first I'm going to buy Ultra Violette sunscreen because it's sunscreen (that you love, and I've been wanting to try it) and even though I'm inside a decent amount, sun protection is still important! x

It's a really good sunscreen but please don't buy it...it contains ingredients which are extremely damaging to coral reefs. You can research on google, the damaging effects of sunscreen on marine life, and you'll see what I mean. Instead, try to invest in a reef-safe sunscreen instead x
