Tower 28 is awesome and I loved the brown shade. My only complaint is they dry out so fast and get clumpy and sticky. They are great when fresh though! ❤

Matilda! Great video. Speaking of old favorites, I recall you used to enjoy the Glossier Moon Mask duo. know it’s a bit irrelevant to the video’s product lineup, but given that the duo has been discontinued now, do you have any good alternative recommendations that can accomplish the same thing?

The Typology Skin Tint went off so quickly on me. It is literally only a six month shelf life. I am strongly warning people away from the brand now.

The Typology tinted serum looks divine! My recent favorite is the Laniege lip sleeping mask. It doesn't work like a mask at all to me, just a lovely nourishing lip balm.

recently been playing with the makeup by mario bronzing serum that i picked up during the sephora sale. it adds the perfect amount of warmth for my everyday makeup it’s very quickly become a new fave! i’ve also been experimenting with layering my cream blushes. i got a sample of danessa myricks blush balms and they’ve been adding an extra oomph to my morning routine 💖

late to this video but wondering if you have any other faveourite cream blushes that are similar in shade to fox? it’s my fave blush shade but i think i need a little more punch without having to layer so much

this is very much like my makeup go to. hourglass skin tint is my holy grail and i just recently picked up and started trying the makeup by mario bronzing serum (absolutely gorgeous but will be trying the one you have next). i’m also obsessed with cream blushes. garconne is on my wishlist ❣️

The VBB concealer has fully changed my life. When she said “the more you use it the less you need it” she was NOT KIDDING. It’s a serum strength eye cream and with coverage. After two weeks my under eyes are actually getting better.

Minimal does not mean boring. People need to quit thinking that because they are boring and minimal that minimal means boring. According to Oxford, the first definition of minimal is: of a minimum amount, quantity, or degree; negligible. Which in layman's terms to not be excessive and to only be what is needed. A single eyeshadow is the definition of a minimal eye look no matter what color is used because it is the bare minimum. Some people are just so negative that they can't stand to see others be happy or successful. Those are the people who have an attitude about the color navy being considered minimal. They are just making things up to be discontented with so they can complain. Navy is a staple color for minimal wardrobes and color schemes because it is minimal and more interesting than black. Navy and white have been a staple duo chrome (monochrome when white wasn't considered a color but the default) outfit color scheme for over a century for ladies for a reason. When mourning customs were upheld navy was one of the few colors a woman in half mourning could wear this was because it was considered to so basic and as only slightly more interesting than black. Thus it wasn't offensive or disrespectful to the dead. Some linguists think the phrase "they are so blue" as a reference for someone who is deeply despondent, depressed or sad could come from this period in our history. Many black dyes were/are blue based and those of middle class or less means would end up with a wardrobe that faded to a navy blue and then lighter blue if they bought cheap or fraudulent black dyes to dye their clothes for mourning. In the US, navy is the default alternative to black for funeral attire, it is so commonly worn that someone in navy is treated as though they are in black. A color does not get much more into the minimal spectrum than being unnoticeable funeral attire.

I'm watching this video whilst doing my makeup, getting ready for work. I also have the Chanel Ombre Essentielle eyeshadow. I have this in 222 Jade Facette, which is a soft jade green in a metallic finish, and 220 Blanc Perle in a satin finish. Nice brief round up of new makeup discoveries.

Matilda, you make every makeup product you show look amazing! This isn’t a new to me product, but a rediscovery of something I already had. Now that it’s cooler here in the states, I’ve been reaching for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer. In the summer, I’m busy trying to keep my face as matte and shine-free as possible, but this bronzer adds the perfect amount of warmth to my face. I can even add a tad bit more to look like I’ve been sitting a bit too long by a fireplace. It’s pricey, but a little goes a long way! Thanks again for the video to brighten everyone’s day ✨

I am going tomorrow on the last day to pick some eyeshadow from the Sephora Collection and maybe a bottle of Vegan Nutrafol. I was introduced to your channel with the summer palette-making vids. I don’t have any upcoming travel plans, but was looking to reduce excess packaging. I’m loving the Salt New York Sneaky Balm since I can purchase it palette-ready. I’m using Makeup Forever refillable palettes for all my cream favs.

I’ve been really interested in those Lisa Eldridge liquid matte eyeshadows because I thought they might be similar to the Armani eye tints which I have also been interested in. Since you described the Lisa eyeshadows as “pigmented” I’m guessing they’re not similar but I’d still be interested to know which ones you prefer!

So curious to learn more about the new Lisa Eldridge balm. I sense I’m going to have to exercise self control not to buy every shade.

By some reason, I really didn’t enjoy the Tower 28 mascara at all. It was advertised as tubing on the U.S. Sephora website - and it was not. It didn’t do anything special to my lashes and dried in just two months. Disappointed
