Amy Serrano I LOVE Kenra’s platinum blow dry spray. A little pricey but it works so good! It’s a heat protectant but it also adds so much shine and smells AMAZING! The bottle lasts me forever too so it’s worth the price. If you want to try it before you commit to a big bottle, they do have smaller travel size options!

Word to the wise, you really have to apply this IN the shower if you’re using the colored versions (instead of the clear). I use the copper gloss, and it gets everywhere no matter how careful I am. It’s VERY liquidy and drips quite a lot. It washes off easily and doesn’t stain my shower, but I don’t know about flooring or walls and would hate to find out the hard way. LOVE the product though!

My hair texture is silky and smooth that as the longer the hair length gets the more it won't hold a curl. I also have never really dyed my hair and don't use heat products on it often due to the texture of it being so nice as it is so my hair is really healthy. While I feel I'm so blessed to have healthy and naturally straight hair, I'm really bummed out because I can't curl it while it's long since it just won't hold.

Try putting jojoba oil on your scalp instead of coconut to mix with the castor oil. Jojoba is the most similar the natural oil our scalps make.

Prenatal vitamins made me super nauseous so my doctor had me take them at night before bed and it really help. But I also had acne and issues going to the bathroom regularly, and turns out iron will cause constipation (some say not going regularly causes acne???). So I switched to prenatal vitamins without iron and the bathroom issue resolved itself, don’t know about nausea though because it came back and stayed with me for my entire pregnancy (yay!). And yes, too many vitamins will get backed up in your system and they need to be flushed out in urine and/or sweat. Drink lots of water and you may not need so many vitamins if you eat good food, like fresh, colorful fruits and vegetables. It’s a very tricky thing and takes time and effort to get it right and know what works for your body.

Can you please share with us how you keep your underarms bright? :))
@AmySerranox5 жыл бұрын
Haha i never thought I’d get this comment here. But i did laser hair removal about 6 years ago and kept it up. So i don’t have hair there. It didn’t shave my underarms too much when I was younger either. I think the 5 o clock shadow from shaving is what causes dark underarms most of the time.

Just want to add a note about laser hair removal. I have never experienced it, luckily I didn’t need it. However, being that I have lived in Miami, FL all my life and it’s almost summer year long, laser hair removal here is very common and almost the norm. That said, there is a percentage of people who will not have positive outcomes from laser hair removal. I don’t know why or how it happens to only some people and not others. Just be advised that I have a few family members and a couple of friends who have done laser hair removal (at seperate places) and they experienced darkening of the skin in the areas they had laser hair removal. It looked like hyperpigmentation and it didn’t nor has it gone away. These are just a few people out of many that I know who have experienced this. All of them had to stop the treatments early on. I’m not sure if it has to do with the laser treatment being utilized or perhaps the individual having some skin reaction to this sort of thing. I also don’t know if laser hair removal technology has changed so that this no longer happens. Bottom line, the majority of people I know had great results, and the minority did not and they all had the same problem. My advice is look into the best places in your area, and don’t go to the cheapest place either. The least expensive places may not always be employing the most qualified staff to do these treatments. Believer me, in Miami there have been so many (too many and still happens to this day) botched Botox, fillers, implants, laser, lipo, etc. gone wrong due to cheap places using under qualified staff. And most importantly, if it were me, I’d ask about having the treatment done first few times in a small area on my body where I wouldn’t really care as much if I happened to be one whose skin darkens with treatments. If the doctor or practitioner you go see does not think a trial treatment is necessary or does not want to do it, then run out of the place and never pay up front. Legit places stand by their services/treatments. Just a heads up, Amy’s results are amazing, so again it happens to only a few people. Good luck!

I took prenatal pills and everyone kept saying it’s just vitamins it can’t cause harm so I was taking a couple a day. And my skin broke out like It never had before I eventually stopped taking them and my skin cleared up. However I was left with spots :( so With that said I don’t think they are bad but do not overdose
