I hate obnoxiously long videos, but for some reason, when it's you, I watch the entire thing. I think you just have a lot of charisma, you're not boring, you have good tone of voice and you don't really blabber on and on about nothing, when you talk, you don't repeat the same thing over and over again, you give useful information. haha you seem so out of breath in this! a little excited about lipgloss? i really liked this video! my fav lipgloss ever is nars turkish delight because it's so milky and opaque that it can make my lip color so much lighter. revlon peach petal is a great one too. im SO happy you're back i was so sad when you left!!

I totally agree with you on many of these products. I just went through my collection after Christmas and tossed a LOT of my glosses. I had the same Sugar fairy gloss and Stila kitten gloss and I tossed them.. not high quality for the price. FYI- Smashbox makes a gloss in a squeeze tube that is a pearly white color (Juicy Tuesday often uses it too).. that one is SO much better than the "pout" gloss. It is beautiful over color or a nude lip. Great video, as always!!

The NYC lipglosses are terrific! I have four of them and love them! I really like the applicator, it just puts the product on so smoothly. I have Big Apple Spice, Honey on the Hudson, Nude New York and Rivington Rose. I wanna pick up Brighton Beach Peach, Midtown Mulberry, and Wine N Dine. I really would like to see them release some more colors because they only have ten.

I enjoyed this video! I'm also a big fan of the NYX mega shine lipglosses (plan to order more this weekend with the Cherry Culture 20% off sale). The smell doesn't bother me that much, and I absolutely love the colors (Trendy and Miami Babe are among my favorites). I also agree with you about Revlon's lipglosses, and I fell in love with Lilac Pastelle (on clearance at CVS).

I have been waiting for a lipgloss overview like this one....thanks so much! Just a few days ago, I was telling my husband that of all the lipglosses I've tried, my favorite happens to be the least expensive... NYC squeeze tubes! You and I seem to have similar opinions about lipgloss, so naturally.... I am going to watch this video again, take notes, and go buy the ones you recommend. Why do you do this to me??!! ; )

I don't know if someone said this already but for the smashbox lipgloss you can take the stopper out by wedging a knife underneath it and you might be able to get more of the product out. :)

The new revlon ones in the long tubes that look like the chanel glossimers are very good and a unique applicator it's a doe foot that flexes so it really hugs to yourr lip curves, Also those NYC ones are my fav too but the colors u mentioned I dont have but I have 4 others! I wanna get that Big Apple Red, I wish Peach Petal worked for me but it streaked and it didn't look good I do like other colors there tho and I agree on Nars and Dior for high ends I think is my fav

Also, for the Urban Decay pocket rocket lip glosses, they smell AMAZING! i dont know if anyone ever made these, but if any one has ever made those Golden Graham cereal bars that they used to have the recipe for on the back of the cereal boxes, that's exactly what they smell like. I would recommend those lip glosses any day!

I agree with candylooou, I drove myself crazy until I removed the stoppers off of some of my lipglosses , but be careful you will get a ton a gloss out once the stopper is gone...& make sure to close it as tight as possible after too.

I totally agree with you on the MAC lipglasses- they turn bad too quickly (a few of mine have turned strange colors), they are sooo sticky and really streaky when I apply them. And I finally picked up the Revlon gloss in peach petal and OMG it has become my HG gloss! LOVE it :)

Also, Revlon has new Colorburst lipglosses which are also pretty nice :) You might like them. The packaging on those is very Chanelesque. The tube is the size of a Chanel glossimer and the color selection is nice.

the coral reef you mentioned from Revlon is permenant now I think. I found it at Walmart last week along with the lavender and hot pink one. I also picked up peach petal and coral reef and love love love them :) thanks for the recommendation :)

You should really try the Laura Mercier lip glosses. I can't stand lip glosses generally -- but I bought the Lip Glace in Pink Diamond on a whim -- and I LOVED it! The smell, consistency, and its so moisturizing!

....so inspired by this I've gone on an all-lip products ban for 2012! I know -it's a bet I made w a friend. So here's the deal: Besides two lip products, which I was sent in jan 2012 I am not allowed to buy any lip balms, lip sticks, glosses or anything UNTIL I visit the U.S in Nov!! The Revlon summer shades aren't limited edition, they ARE permanent now! I myself have Pink Pop and Coral Reef + 3 of their older shades. They're great! :)

just so you know, lipglosses in the tube do in fact get air in the tube. When you squish out the product air has to go in and fill the space that the product was taking up. It is more sanitary though....only because you're not sticking the wand back in every time.

i'm a big fan of the bath and body works liplicious brand. they have awesome colors and great texture. i have like 20 lipglosses and i love all of them. it's also in the tube packaging, which i also go for most of the time (back then, but now i'm more open to the bottle/wand packaging). the co bigelow brand has the peppermint lipglosses that i love too :D.
