It’s only 60hz though, right? I mean how is this Pro if every Mac screen has 120hz

The studio display is 60 Hz. For things like Video editing and photo work 60 HZ is fine.

I should work like any monitor so I assume you can use in clamshell but you might then meed to power the monitor. I'll need to check or maybe ask this comment on the Amazon page since I packed that monitor away but will bring it back out soon and can test.

Hi Craig. You mentioned the option of connecting this to a phone or iPad (and I see another commenter has picked up on that), but I think then you should have mentioned that this is not a touch screen. So when viewing an iPad or iPhone user interface on this you will not be able to manipulate it with your fingers as you are used to on the device itself. So one shouldn’t think of this as turning your phone into an iPad-size device for example. Another questions… given this is marketed as portable - what is your assessment of that capability? Would you be comfortable packing this in the sleeve and taking in a backpack to a coffee shop or on the road? How durable vs. fragile is this device being it is a screen. (Glass, right?) Otherwise good review over all. And thanks for bringing this unique device to our attention!

Yes, this is not a touchscreen. I have done other monitors that are but this one is a standard monitor. I think the build quality of the device is very good. I mean if you drop any monitor from 6 feet don't expect miracles but it's a nice build when compared to the others I have looked at.
