Enjoyed that vlog thanks. I'm always up and down the G&S. I'm local to Gloucester and I've never heard of 'The Noose' ? We would call it 'The Hourse Shoe' but hey ho.....

Hi Adrian Glad you enjoyed the video Yes I think the bend directly to the east of Frampton is called the horse but it is more horseshoe in shape really!

One of the “rusting” craft in Sharpness dock was the MV Egremont - originally a Mersey Ferry but later spent many years in Salcombe Estuary (South Coast of Devon) as the floating headquarters for the Island Cruising Club (vessel has ICC on its funnel)..... it was towed to Sharpness a few years ago for inspection and repairs, but unable to return to Salcombe......
