i actually agree with aqua not because i think abiko doesn't have the ability to do the job, but rather she doesn't have enough experience yet to do what GOA has been doing for a while. see, writing stories and scripts are two different things and have very different process even if you're writing for the same material cause you have to consider the medium you're writing for. is it for a play, is it for a movie, a tv series, or an event script. albeit needing/utilizing the same thing (script/storytelling/narration) not one can be used for the other.

I understand Akane's "analitic mode" came out as "creepy", but it isn't bc she has malicious intent or bc she is a little crazy (which she is a little), but bc that's a thing she does. She has a natural sherlock holmes inside her, and i have to say: she is GOOD at this 😂 this is the main reason i like Akane. The other characters have their unique traits, but this side of her is just REALLY cool for me, specially for what it brings to the story at some points.

The only reason the show even frames it as bad, with the direction and ost, is because of the dangers she or the twins may be exposed to if she digs too deep. Like imagine if some 17yo actor found the truth behind a celebrity's murder because she was preparing for her method acting.

Prince of Tennis which is what the stage play here is parodying was a reaaally popular in early-mid 00s anime series. More than 150 eps long. You would be surprised how easy it would be to draw in series fans and random (forced)BL fans.

Fun fact: Akane was originally going to be a filler character who would not appear after the reality show's arc. However, the author of the manga decided to change that and give her a more relevant role in the story, along with Aqua, Ruby, and Kana. And in the next episodes we'll understand why ✨

8:12 I don't think it's possible to undermine the mangaka in this case. Aqua clearly understands her passion and reasoning, but knowing what a manga writers job is and having seen a 2.5D play, the mediums are wholly and completely adverse. "You make this happen beautifully on paper. Cool. Now, it make in a real world instance and have the same emotions expressed." I think Aqua's thoughts here belie a clear impression.

I can relate to Abiko so much, I can even say that we are the same. When I was younger I was a shut-in and was really lacking communication skills. And when i had an opportunity to work with people on a blog it was a disaster. I am a perfectionist and have really high standards when it comes to everything and there is no way I would ever compromise, in the end it bit me and keeps biting me in the ass to this day. I was and am always surrounded by yes-men and every time reality hits me I go into panic attack and depression because I am not as good as I thought to be. I never had anyone to ground me so it hurts so much. Even though I already grew up and my personality made 180, I learned a lot and it is much easier for me to make friends but i still think I lack some communication skills because it is hard for me to progress and keep relationships. Sometimes I feel like i keep people around just to not be lonely and not to make connections... I simply don't know how it feels

I feel that. As im close to finishing up my degree at a very competitive university where the avg gpa is nearly a 4.0, i used to feel like i got into my university out of pure luck and felt inferior to my classmates and they were geniuses with amazing talents. In my later years as i improved and even surpassed a lot of them in academics, i realized that its not true. Feeling inferior and like you don't belong in a competitive environment is normal and often stems from "impostor syndrome." What i had to realize was that i am where i am not because of luck (ok maybe a tiny bit), but because of my efforts. Also that everyone has strength and weaknesses, even the most talented people have them and its just a matter of finding those strengths and weaknesses and working hard to play into them and improve yourself. Eventually, your efforts will pay off in the end. I know its cringe to quote anime but i think its a really good phrase that has real truth to it. As Rengoku once said, "Set your heart ablaze."

If i can give you anime to watch, i would say Danmachi, Rising of the shield hero, Mairimashita Irumaku and Undead Unluck. Anyway, i love your content, i'm feeling less alone when you cry, because even if i'm a man, some anime hit hard about feelings. about "akane best girl" yeah i can see how weird it is to see why so many people love akane when there's "nothing" to like about her so far in the anime. the reason akane is loved should reveal itself in the next episode and the episode after minor spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . can't say it's a good reason. but it is a reason nontheless

This debate will never end!😂 Akane is a more complex character than Kana that’s for sure and she was and still is very crucial to the plot of ONK. But personally Kana is more enjoyable as a character and she is the only character who lightens up the gloomy mood of the show. I can’t say one is better than the other
