THIS WAS SO ON POINT!! I had a similar experience. I was heavily involved in multiple aspects of this election, watching, calling, defending, registering, transporting, donating, zooming, and voting. On November 6th I bawled like a baby, went to work with predominantly non black co workers and had to stuff it down all day. For at least a week, I shut down all social media, radio, and news because it was too triggering. I was in prayer groups all day Tuesday so I just couldn't understand how God would allow this despicable human being to triumph over a woman who checked off all the boxes. She had 100 days to pull it together. And you mean to tell me the price of eggs (which was caused by a bird flu) was enough for you to overlook this woman? Biden brought us out a pandemic! But still she deserved a chance to make history. Women who voted against Kamala have never experienced or had friends who tried to self abort or who have had a non viable pregnancy where you have to decide what's best to save your life. They voted to let someone intervene on what should be a private decision. I can go on and on. But I'm so happy to hear from black women who felt how I felt. I don't have a safe space at work so this space is liberating.

@@dreanash8678 Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment-it truly means the world to us. 💕 We feel 100% the same way and want you to know that this episode wasn’t created lightly. We spent a lot of time reflecting on how we could approach a topic that we both felt so deeply, both collectively and individually. It truly shifted the way we think, and hearing that it resonated with you in such a meaningful way warms our hearts more than words can express. Your decision to listen, reflect, and respond with such a spot-on message is a gift we don’t take lightly. Thank you for gifting us your time and energy-it’s an act of love that inspires us to keep going. We hope your comment encourages others to do the same: to take a moment to listen, understand, and recognize that as women, we’re truly in this together if we allow ourselves to see that in one another. Until that day comes, we’ll continue to grow, glow, and hoe-healing over everything-in hopes of one day celebrating our very own Madam Vice President. 💡✨ Thank you again for being part of this journey with us. 💖 #GrowGlowHoe #HealOverEverything #WomenSupportingWomen
